India Today Book Club (BagItToday.com) — Non receipt of order watch

i ordered for swatch watch from bagittoday.com Order No.[protected]India Today Book Club) on[protected]. I paid the amount through CC. I was promised that the order will be delivered in 3-4 weeks time. Since then two months has passed but the order has not been dispatched. Whe i contacted on emails, they simply do not reply or gave vague answers like "Our system has not been updated, get back in 3-4 days". When contacted on telephone they say that there was some technical fault and promise that within 10 days the order will be delivered. Upto now nothing has happened.
It seems that India Today Group are now in cyber frauds and making money by fooling people around.

India Today Book Club — Non receipt of swatch watch ordered

This is dr. Rajanikanth from Bhopal, India. My membership number for india today book club is ITEC08814042. I got number of calls and sms alerts that as a member of the india today book club i can order for a swatch watch for Rs. 3199/- . I ordered for a BLACK SWATCH WATCH on 25th December, 08 and paid a sum of Rs. 3199/- for the same via my credit card (APPLE Tech). The reference number generated for the same is [protected]. However i recieved 16 pens of poor quality(might cost Rs 10/ each) on 6th January 09, instead of the watch and i appraised the customer care agent about the issue. I was asked to return the same which i did promptly the very next day by EMS speed post to the following address/;

LIVING MEDIA INDIA Ltd., B -47, INDIRA ENCLAVE, NEB SARAI, NEW DELHI

this is the same address from where i recieved the wrong parcel. The web tracking of the consignment i sent shows that it was delivered on 13th January'09. you may also click on http://www.indiapost.gov.in/speednew/Track3.aspx?articlenumber=EI[protected]IN for the same. i was promised that the watch that i ordered would be sent as soon as they recieve my consignment.
Since then, i have been mailing them and making futile calls to the customer care centre with no proper reply. They sometimes say they didnot recieve the parcel, sometimes say they it was recieved but the system is not updated for its status. All i got is a complaint number "COMP54990". It has become a practice for the past three months to call them up every week and hear the same story. They say my issue will be resolved in a week's time and the next time i call up, it is the same story. when i asked them to return my amount all they did was to generate another complaint number(67131) and asked for a time of 25 working days.

i feel cheated and very much disappointed at the lousy service and attitude of the customer service cell of a reputed company like "INDIA TODAY". i have been wasting my time, money and energy trying to tell my story to a new customer care personnel every time i call up. At the end, till date i have neither recieved my watch nor my money was returned. i urge, through this channel, that proper action be undertaken and the matter resolved at the earliest.

In the month of December 2008, I received number of calls and SMS alerts that as a member of the India Today book club I can order for a swatch watch for Rs. 3199/- . As I was not able to complete the order online, I got a phone call from the call centre representative who helped in making the payment. I ordered for a BLACK SWATCH WATCH on 25th December, 08 and paid a sum of Rs. 3199/- for the same via my credit card (APPLE Tech). The reference number generated for the same is [protected]. I also have similar issues with Bagittoday.com . I have placed an order long time back, more than a month have gone and there is no trace of my shipment

So true. Surprisingly, Indian Today Book Club has shown no response to my complaint (Id[protected], ITBC No.[protected]. I have paid Rs.4298 but no watch and sunglasses have been received by me so far. I have used the services of bagittoday.com quite often and have on a few occasions faced a few problems regarding delivery of parcels on time. However, after communicating with bagittoday.com personnel the issue has always been resolved and I’m thus far quite happy with the purchased items

Today I recieved a call from this party who informed me that I am one of the three lucky winners who has won a cash bag worth Rs.2.25 lakhs. Then I was told that to avail this cash bag, I should purchase one of the three specified products costing Rs.18, 000/-, 22, 000/- and 39, 000/- respectively. Something seems to be fishy since they were so insistant and persuasive over the phone for over 20-25 minutes. Can anyone advise me suitably in this regard?

This is just a fake site. They are just stealing money from us. I placed order 3 months back and I did not get my products. The support is also too bad. People please join hands with me to make this site unpopular. Let’s make people aware about the fake site and stop them from buying anything from this site.
