India Today Book Club — Bad response from customer care | |
I bought CDs from India Today Book Club and got a chance to claim free gift. When I logged on the site mentioned in the letter from the India Today Book Club, the system did not accept the details. So I called the customer care number, the representative told me that they will activate the unique code number within 48 hrs. It was not activated even after 2 days, so I called again, again got the reply - give us 48 hrs, we will activate it ! Not this time too... Called them third time, still they have not activated it !! The customer care representatives seem to pass the time, instead of doing real work. They did not give my call to their senior, they out me on hold for almost 6 minutes, were very casual in giving the replies. Their attitude was very arrogant knowing that I can not do much from a long distance. I hope some responsible person from India Today takes notice of my complaint. Was this information helpful? | |

this thing has happend with me also many time, India times book club keeps on sending you have win swee stake 60khs, now you have to buy things worth 2500+, people like me buy books, swatch and other items, no free gift comes. again today I got call from them to buy reebock gym kit worth Rs.2599 to go in final sweepstake. How far it is true I do not know. all sort o[censored]nethical method they adopt to cheat people. no braded compnay would do that. How to verfiy they are genuine or not.just sending borucvhers, you won free hopliday packagae, flights tickets, juicer, pearl set, till date nothing I got.

i have been cheated by india today group.they told me that i have to purchase a kodak camera and i will get reward of rs 20, 000.and after that they said to do one more transaction. of rs 16199 and inthis way i made 3 tranasaction of rs 9149.00, 161999.00 and 7998.00. through credit card.The purchased items of order id[protected],[protected],[protected].
now i want to cancel althese 3 transaction .because i have been cheated by the prize moneyand i have nt got any confirmation regarding my product also.
