The telecollar has contact me and asked me for the transaction of rs 1196 for gold box but he has actually done the transection of rs 14998/-, order no OGA[protected], dt 11/09/2010. Again I was asked for the transaction of rs 1196/-, order no OGA[protected], dt 11/09/2010, I was told that in Gold Box i have one lack indian rupees cash i was getting it by bank draft, He has also ask me to pay income tax in advance, which is not applicable as per IT rules. I have contact the custmor care and told him all the things and asked him to cancelled the oreder or get money from that mischious person pocket and transfer it to me. But upto to day i have not get any reply from the indiatoday book club and today i have tried on internet and i am unable to claim the special offer also. So this company is damaging the name india and is like to be fruad one is there anyone who can blacklist this company and shut it forever? One cheated custmor and one Proud Indian.

India Today Book Club — Holiday Flight TIcket Not Issued

Dear Sir,
I am a member of India times book club. I have paid for the subscribtion and at the time of booking i was offered some goodies and a flight ticket. Thought i received the goodies i have not received the flight ticket. As per the information they have provided i am supposed to send the request by post to their bangalore office, and i did post it on 12th Feb 2010 as registered post for which i got the acknowledgement on 17th and the signature indicates that they have received it by 15th of Feb 2010. According to the terms and conditions am supposed to receive the flight ticket with in 10 days, I waited for a 8 months and then i tried to contact their Delhi office on[protected] and i was asked to call on[protected]. I contacted on that number and i was asked to call the bangalore office at[protected]. I did the same and spoke to a lady who mentioned to send an email to Ms.Anusha Jagadeesh on <[protected]@bigcity.in>. I did send an email and after sending remainder too i got a reply asking for the voucher number for which i replied. Then i got a reply on 13th October saying that the flight ticket will be send that day by courier. After that i have send another 5 remainder mails asking for the tracking number saying i have not received the flight ticket for which there was no response at all. The way which Ms.Anusha wass handling this case was purely Un proffessional. After sending so many remainder mails she has not even replied for a single mail. I wanted Justice as i have spend my hard eraned money and they have committed that they are sending the voucher.I am not bothered about the voucher but the pain is when someone loot you on day light. I already spoke to my advocate and as per his advice am posting this complaint. I really dont mind spending money on despute,it is not for the voucher but i found so many forums from many people saying the same complaint.For your reference i am also attaching the emails send by Ms.Anusha. Kindly look into the matter and advice.

This is Email number 3 asking the same Tracking number. I seriously don’t understand how you feel like ignoring customers email. I am feeling ashamed for asking the same thing again and again and I was wondering what are you going through after requesting so much you are just ignoring it. Or is this the way your company and you works.

I still have not got your courier, you mentioned that it will be sent on 12th and today is 16th. Where is your courier? Is that courier coming by walk or something. I am actually fed up of your unprofessional approach and moreover you are not even bothered to give a call and say a word of apology. Look at the number of mails I have send so far.

This is was the last , I will never ever buy or spend money on this, you will never get me back as a customer and moreover I am going to share my experience to all I know who subscribed to your books.

I am still waiting for a reply from you, and do that whenever you get some free time. Show atleast so much for the money I spend.

The date I send the request through registered post was on 10th February 2010 for which I got the acknowledgement on 18th Feb and the sign indicates that you have received it on 15th Feburary.I think I already had enough run around for the same and very upset too. You mentioned 10 working days am not sure how many more days I should wait for you to become the 10th working day. I seriously don’t understand what is that stopping you to call me on my below mentioned numbers and explain me things. I don’t think so this is a professional approach for a big organization like yours because I was promised twice by your executive Shilaja who attended my call that a lady Named ANUSHA will call you before 5 PM today which was on Wednesday. I mean last Wednesday and after that 2 working days and one weekend over. So far I never heard from anyone I think for you that 5 Pm is yet to come, isn’t it?

I wanted this to be closed as I have already spend enough time and money calling STD to your Delhi office and Bangalore.

India Today Book Club — Free Shoes Not Received

Sir,

This is to inform you that I have booked one Reebok Kit from India Today Book Club in the month of March. Originally this kit offered by India today had Wrist watch, Reebok Bag, Reebok Shoes & Reebok Track Suit. This kit was for Rs. 3298.00. After that I received Message from the company that due to non availability of Reebok Shoes they are sending a Reebok Sunglasses free of cost and within some days we will be send you your Reebok Shoes free of cost and i was advised in the message to receive the Kit without my Reebok Shoes by paying the VPP charges, which i did.
But the Reebok shoes promised by the India Today that they will be sending me after some days, has not been sent to me yet. If I do not receive proper response for my complain from the company I will be forced to do something for public awareness, so that no one else should suffer this same problem.

I was also promised that i wl receive my consignment in 2 - 3 weeks' time. It is 17.12.2010 today when iam writing this. I am yet to receive my consignment. I just want to know why a reputed brand name like India Today is being made to be tarnished by dishing out false promises and cheating gullible and innocent people. I want people to boycott the offers made by these a******* and teach them a lesson. India Today Book Club — Cheating me as I have not pay anything and charged on my card

I got a call from India today book club and the caller told me I don't have to pay anything but I will get diamond gift coupons for my previous purchase in India Today Book Club. I told repeatedly i don't want anything form them. Still he insisted he won't cahrge anything but cahrged Rs. 8999 on my credit card.

After that I cancelled their order when I got confirmation call. Still I am not refunded the amount. The bank says they have claimed the amount. What is the course of action to get it back?
