[Resolved]  IndiaHotelReview.com — Non - dispatch of holiday confirmation voucher

My membership number is ITBC08597628 and order number OGA[protected] and this order was made on 12th September 2008.

My complaint is that :

I was sent an e-mail giving the details to be sent back for claiming the free holiday activation -voucher by your employee Ms.Poonam D. I have sent these details to Ms. Poonam a total of 3 times since 27th of Dec 2008, but she refuses to acknowledge these mails and send me the needed activation voucher. I am really tired of this whole mismanagement. Please arrange for this voucher to be dispatched to me at the earliest.

I have been following it up for a long time. Such a slackness and lack of organisation is not expected of a well reputed company such as your's.

IndiaHotelReview.com — Holiday Package

1. On the 29th of November I sent all the details and documents needed to avail of the 2-day 3-night holiday package together with a bank draft for Rs. 800. I also indicated choice of hotels.

2. All this was couriered as required to the address printed on the voucher: IndiaHotelReview.com, A-1 First Floor, Sector 10, Noida U.P. PIN 201301.

I was supposed to get my confirmation within 15 days. This did not happen.

3. Three weeks later, after waiting for the confirmation, I tried telephoning a number of times, but I could not get any answer or was always told to call back later. Besides, we were given on Monday and Tuesday to call -- a rather small window of opportunity.

4. I sent a number of emails to OfferatIndianotelreview.com and each time I got cryptic one line answers: -- the first of them saying that they had not received my documents.
-- On emailing a detailed list of the documents I sent, I got an email asking me which address I sent the documents to.
--I told them that I had sent it to the address printed on the voucher.
-- to which I get the cryptic one line answer saying that the address has been now updated on the website and that they have still not received the documents.

I submit that this is preposterous! How can you change the address midstream? How are we to know that the address is changed? If the address has changed it is the responsibility of the Offer to make sure that all correspondence is accessed and acted on.

This is bordering on a scam and I hate to think that a group like yours chooses to associate with an organization like this one. You cannot absolve yourself of the responsibility of making sure that we get our offers.

The entire administration of this offer has been extremely customer-unfriendly to say the least.

Please ensure that this complaint is resolved as soon as possible.

Holidays Package of 2Nights & 3 Days.

I bought some books from India Today Book Club and i won holiday voucher when i sent all the require documents along with Re 800/- to confirm my booking to IndiaHotelReview.com.but one of ms Poonam Devi. she returned my all the documents because i did not follow up terms & conditions of the Holiday voucher and i sent the DD of "Indain Overseas bank" which she did not accept.i tried to contact her so many time but phone was every time engaged/busy.i little bit troubled here regarding my holiday voucher.i contact her again luckily its connected to ms Poonam Devi i ask her very roughly why you return my documents she replied, sir with regards your query but i would like to inform you that they accepted the DD only Indian Bank its mentioned in the voucher.i had to sent my document again with the DD of Indian bank..and finally after few days i got a confirmation call from the IHR regarding my booking. she confirmed my booking for "Kodaikanal "

it was my second trip with my wife and the hotel was good which was offered by poonam for me.when we checked in the hotel we had to wait approx half an hour for our room at last we got the room.

We are back from wonderful holiday.thank you very much for making our holiday as so wonderful which we have not dreamt off.We had a enjoyable stay at "sterling lake view "as she said. They lacked in providing basic facility on first day but they responded to our request very fast.

at the guidance from ms Poonam side's i had wonderful experience on this trip.
I would like to withdraw the complaint made by me earlier with an assurance from the company that the holiday bookings shall be taken as required.
My ITBC Membership Number . TBC093336 and Invoice Number: ORA[protected], I have send DD Rs800 Indian Bank, I have asked several time and mailed several time 1 fine day i got mail from Poon Devi the DD name is wrongly mentioned, I told to send bank so as i can correct the DD and send back, but ill now I have not recieved the DD, I asked several mails neither I dot my DD nor the despatch courier company details of despatch.

I feel indiahotelreview.com purpusefully playing with me so that the offer will close.
Its totally carelessness by the company.

Holiday confirmation voucher — Yet they had not received my DD which i had sent to them

As i had sent an DD in the name of Premeir Sales india Pvt Ltd
on 27/03/10... When i give a call to them they will leave me in long hold and when they come on line they are telling me that still we had not recived my Post DD...
What is the nonsence conditions of this company that we have do the all transactions in normal post only wat is this ... If we are sending in normal post if it not delivered to Addressee then how it will be retuned to us ...
Please do a favour for me ... Give any Solution to me for this as soon as much possible...
