I have gas connecation in Trimurti Gas Agency, Vikas Puri,New Delhi and i have booked a cylender on 08 Aug 2009 (Booking No. 2312) but we did not received the cylender till yet after long follow up the booking excutive told as your cylender is already delivered and booked a fresh request (Booking NO. - 3557) on 09 Sep 2009.

I am tried to follow up gas cylender with Trimuti Gas Agaecy, Vikas Puri , New Delhi -110018.

I am totaly disturbed & my routine life also.

Avtaar flame centre supply of cylinder is very poor & bad & distributor will not entertained the customer if you visited his shop.

Kindly do the needuful asap.

I am Anandakrioshnan living in CHENNAI, AVADI, JB Estate.

Last five months all the Indane Consumers in our area(JB Estate, Saraswathy Nagar) people are struggling to get our regular Gas cylinders after booked. The Delivery man never came to house deliver the cylinders in our house. Their reply is road problem. Ofcourse we are also struggling for that during rainy days. Bur now no rain and road is ok, still they never turned back to deliver the cylinders in our houses. If we asked about they never care and "GO and COMPALAIN any where we dont care like that"

SIr please look in to our problem all our ladies and gents who ever in the has to go to the main road (750 mtrs tp 1KM) and waiting from the morning to get the cylinders. That also if they are interested only. they may go and deliver where ever they want, some thing like that. Sorry sir, as consumer we are really getting day by irritated by these problems. Hope you will take an action to support us to get relived from these problems.

Indian Oil and Gas — delivery problem

M/s Saraswati Enterprises, river side road, kiranighat, gaya,bihar.
There is regular booking complaint and the telephone numbers are almost never attended and booking has to be done by personal visits.I have booked my gas on the 21st of December 2010 oder no. 5635 2010 but NOT DELIVERED TILL DATE.On 1st of feb 2011 I personally visited the shop and was assured that the same would be delivered today but nothing happened.I have got the information that gas cylinders much after my booking date has already been delivered.Please look into the matter

i have booked my cylinder on 25th April my ref. no. 24741 and i have got cash memo no. 24740 on dt-28.04.11 but the cylinder still not deliver...i have try to contact our delear(K2 International) but telephone not picked by the deler...i m also try to make the complain with IOCL on toll free no but the no. ([protected]) was also not responding...

I have booked my Cyliner against refill booking No. 3912 Cash Memo No.3886 on 11 May vide my Consumer No. 1637 but the Cyliner not deliver...i have try to contact our delear (Ranvir Interprises, Alaknanda, Kalkaji, New Delhi ) but telephone not picked by the deler...i m also try to make the complain with IOCL on toll free no... on 30 May 11 again I have booked my Cyliner against refill booking No.[protected] but the Cyliner still not deliver.

I would like to lodge a complaint for irregular supply of gas cylinder from Dum Dum Gas Supply Agency having their phone no. 25484683 and 25484328.
I have booked for my gas on 3.08.2011 having their alloted order no. 223740 but yet I have not received any gas cylinder from them.

This is to bring to your notice that I was cheated at Sarita Service Station, Indian Oil Petrol Pump opposite Jasola District Centre, New Delhi. I told the attendent to fill up the tank but the attendent filled up for only Rs. 200. Then she said sorry for not filling it up full. This happened with me 15 days back. So I end up paying Rs 1600 for Tank full and Rs. 200. I thought it is fine she must not have heard when I said to fill the tank full. But again when I went to that PetrolPump on 12/06/08, the same thing was repeated. This time I noticed that only Rs 200 is showing up and the litres have not moved from 0. I started shouting at that lady and told to call up the owner immediatly. She said sorry for the incidence and told that she will pay up for Rs 200. Then I was sure that she has cheated me, I called the owner of the Petrol Pump and told him about this. But I very embarassed with this whole episode. I would like you to take some strict action against them and I would for sure will never visit any Indian Oil Petrol Pump anymore.

Hi all

This is to bring to your notice that I was cheated at Kapoor Station, Indian Oil Petrol Pump opposite engineers estate, Delhi. I told the attendent to fill petrol worth Rs 500 knowing the fact this pump is know for malpractice ( had no choce as was low on fuel). The attendent filled punched Rs. 500 and started filling. In the mean while the attendent cleaning the wind screen was constantlt trying to indulge me in conersation. I was alert and had a constant eye on the meter and the attendent filling petrol. The guy cleaning the screen repeatedly started asking me to spray water on the with screen using the car controls. Normally thats not at all the practice, The cleaner has a spong which is dipped in water before cleaning the screen. This was being done intentionally to distract me. the as i was spraying i saw the attendent filling the petrol playing with the keypad. I immediatly shouted and got down from the car and asked for the manager. In turn the attendent said " please don't spoil my clients and said there was a electricity failuer, when there was no power failuer as the other pumps were working fine. When i continued my argument, he and the manager said we will fill the remaining petrol and said pls. dont create a sean. They filled an additional 150 worth of petrol.

This petrol pump has been involved in such practices for quite some time, i have no. of times seen people argue . On an average i feel every 4 customer is cheated here.

I am equally suprised that no indian oil team ever checks them.

Hope the indianoil vigillance team will wake up some day

This is to inform you that I had filled the diesal at Ravitha fuel station Indian oil petrol bunk at ( Polichaloor chennai 600074 ) They had swiped my card twice and charged me twice. When I had recd the statement I had shocked to see the amount has repeated twice. When I had enquired the petrol bunk the worker has said to me that this query should be sort out from his owner only. And multiple times I went to the bunk the workers informed me that his owner just know he has left the bunk he will come tommorrow, comming week etc. And finaly after 25 days I had threatened the bunk workers that ask your owner to refund the amount other wise I will file a case at police station, . Next days the worker has said to me that information went to owner and he accepted to refund the amount and he had realised that it was is mistake. And later the owner started cheating that he not seen the statement he will check the statement and give the amount.
Finally today I went to the bunk ( After 2 months 10days from the transaction date ) Today he said to me that go and complaint any body I will not afraid from any body. Iam the owner of the petrol bunk

Indian AirLines Ltd — Credit Card not except by the petrol pump swap machine

My Father Name is Ishwar Singh and card no is [protected]. He was going to deheradun in 31/01/2009 by car and fill the petrol in andrewsganj petrol pump & giving credit card for payment but the pump boy swap the card in machine but the machine not print the paper so he said the credit company will not except the card so pay cash money. so he was feel very bad & pay cash money.
Please find out the problem? & sand me the answer why he face this problem otherwise we cancel this card.

I have taken a new car at new giving starting problem when I check my car in service center they all are telling that the fuel is not good that wise this problem is going on please take some strict action

This is to bring to your kind notice that Vijay Brothers Indian oil pump opposite to commissioner's office in Gurgaon is selling adultrated diesel with kerosene. I have filled the High speed diesel for tank full with receipt number 119188 on 19 March 2009 only after some time my car start producing pure white fumes with excess of fumes too, it automatically start getting heated. When i went to service station for the check up came to notice their is close to 35% kerosene mixed with the diesel.

I had a very bad time for this non sense i am also trying to take the matter to court have collected the sample and will F%@# the owner.

I request to IOC senior officers to take the things on priority.

I told the attendant to fill petrol worth Rs 500 knowing the fact this pump is know for malpractice (had no choice as was low on fuel). The filling attendant was filling another vehicle (a scooter). In the mean while the attendant cleaning the windscreen was constantly trying to indulge me in conversation. Indian Oil — malpractice during delivery of oil

i would like to bring to your attention that i was cheated during diesel delivery in sree kondarama service station, doddakanneli, bangalore -560035.last month i had ordered diesel for Rs.500 but the worker there stopped it at Rs.350 only and cheated me of Rs.150.when i asked him why he didi not put the diesel for the rest of the money he started to argue with me and and started fighting .next, today that is 4/06/2009 i was again cheated with diesel worth Rs.200.i am really displeased with the kind of service provided by indian oil dealers.today he started fighing with me even more fiercely.i would like you to look into the matter and would kike you to take the necessary actions.

The cheating is rampant these days and nobody is doing anything in this regard. It is such a shame that despite so many complaining about these petrol pumps the pumps across are cheating customers day by day.

I was also cheated in the same was as explain in the main thread of this post. Next time I will be more alert. Rather than waiting for our police or govt. to take action, I have vowed myself not to get cheated again!

i m consumer of indian oil and we r facing lot of problems from ur pump.i live in guru har sahai which is in ferozepur district state punjab, there is pump of indian oil named is teja singh iqbal singh, near baba ber sahib gurudawara, muktsar rd district frozepur tehseil jallabad, and that pump owner has a another petrol pump on goluka road.and in that place he is sellling diesel so thats why he does not selling petrol in his old petrol pump and people faces many problems bec they dont selling petrol except scooter, when a scooter person come for filling petrol then they fill petrol because in that they get more profit by using mobliel, they show u that there is no sale of petrol in teja singh iqbal singh petrol pump and want to shifted that pump to diesel pump which is on goluka road plz do something for us

Same thing happened to me at Indian Oil petrol station in Bangalore. I shouted at the pump operator then he said he will pay from his salary. Similar incident happened to me a couple of days back. I end up paying Rs 200 more. Every petrol station employee is involved in this mafia.

We need to start a revolution.We should not depend on Governamentruled by Hizra's. We need to burn the petrol pump as and when they do the same.

I wanted to bring the malpractices at Indian Oil petrol pump at Madhapur, Hyderabad

I am a regular user of Indian Oil Extra Premium. I normally refuel my car at the petrol pump at Somajiguda Circle, near Begumpet. There the quality of fuel and service is satisfactory.

But the last time when I visited the Indian Oil petrol pump at Madhapur, opposite to Ayappa Society Road, near Hitec city, I have been cheated. The meter (which sows the amount of fuel dispensed) there must have been tampered. I bought extra premium worth Rs. 1500, which should be 28.71ltr. But the car fuel indicator shows that the amount of fuel given was atleast 3litres less than what it should be.

They also tried to sell be some petrol card, the price of which Rs. 60. When I refused to buy that the price suddenly came down to Rs. 30.

This Petrol Pump is located at a prime location in Hyderabad, which is very close to the IT companies there nearby. Indian Oil authorities should make a note of this and make sure that their reputation is not dented in that area.

I wanted to bring the malpractices at Indian Oil petrol pump (Mann filling station, Phase 8, Mohali).
On the 12th of February 2010 i went to the filling station at 9:00 a.m. and requested them to fill up my car with normal petrol. They refused to do saying that they only stock the premium quality and are not bound to be keep ordinary petrol. When we enquired that there was no display sign showing the same the staff of the pump was extremely rude.
I was foreced to fill the premium quality from the pump. could you kindly clarify if this is allowed and ensure that the staff does not misbehave with the customers.

Indian oil petrol pump employees are very casual and careless about their customer today i went to belapur automobiles C.B.D navimumbai (Maharashtra) to fill petrol in my bike . petrol pump the person who was filling the tank as he was involved talking with the other person he spilled the petrol outside when I asked to acknowledge the mistake he started blaming me i approached the owner of the pump but he doesn’t had any voice or control over the staff. what to say some time i feel service towards customer is very poor compare to HP.

This is common in chennai too. So I stopped going to Indian Oil pumps now a days.

As this is repeating, once before filling itself I told the attendant that I need full tank petrol in the first stretch itself and NOT the 200 rupees petrol first and later filling the tank, he accepted and told another guy to fill the tank. But the new guy dont know about what I told the other guy. So he continued his usual procedure. Once he took the gun after filling the 200 rupees petrol, I shouted at the attendant and started the vehicle, without paying the money, the attendant came and said a sorry and told me that is a mistake with the machine and no need to pay that 200 rupees because no petrol was filled.

I hope U understood how much they make like this.

IOC is blind towards this because all the petrol pumps are run by people having good 'hold' in the central ministry.

This is another COMPLAINT against the Devsena Service Station, Nehru Ngr. I got cheated over there today morning (25/03/2010) when i reached to get pertrol (of Rs. 500-Normal) for my car.The service guy over there didnt ask me to ensure "ZERO" before starting filling the pertrol. He started filling it without my knowledge & one of his colleague helped him by engaging me asking useless questions. When i check the meter it was already Rs 300. Iam sure that they haven't fill petrol equivalent to Rs.500. Please do the needfull action as these people cheating innocent people daily. I am an very old customer of Indian Oil but by seeing such activities i have decided to not to fill petrol from INDIAN OIL petrol pumps.

I have also suffered by such kind of incident when I had filled petrol in my bike with Indian oil corporation petrol pump at coco IOC Link road, Delhi, for Rs 400 on dt 24/05/2010 but petrol pump attendant cheated me and filled petrol only for Rs 250 and I came to know this fact when I filled my bike again with HPCL petrol pump with same amount on today (31/05/2010) after filling petrol my bike’s petrol meter showing my tank full but last time it was on half.

I have my card receipt and I can prove all this.

I am writing this mail with respect to a malpractice which I have observed at Indian Oil Petrol Pump outlet in Bangalore. This is specifically related to a Petrol Pump situated at Bhommanahalli (Indian Oil, On the left side from Electronic city to Madiwala) also known as Ganesh Fuel.

The salesman at the Petrol Pump follow this practice : Let say the man before you has filled up petrol worth 20 Rs . Then when you come to fill the petrol, he will ask you how much petrol you want . You would say 100 Rs. Then the guy who is collecting money will take the money from you and will try to divert your attention by asking you whether you want oil with petrol or whether you want speed or whether you have 100 Rs change etc.By that time the other guy will start filling the petrol without resetting the machine to zero.

I have caught them several times but most of the time Manager is not available in the bunk. I went many times to meet and speak to the manager but I couldn’t.



I hope you will take up the matter and duly punish the people involved at the petrol station.

I m regular customer of Indian Oil, have three vehicles with me. Being a sincere Indian, my principle is BE INDIAN BUY INDIA. But today incident shock me and made to think why BY FROM INDIAN STORES ONLY

This is to bring to your notice that I was cheated at Shankar Petrol Pump, Gole Market, Service Station, Indian Oil Petrol Pump, New Delhi. I told the attendant to fill up the petrol for only Rs. 200. I gave him Rs. 500/-. He has taken the money and gone back to the machine. The other person who was filling the petrol told me take the scooter away as the other customer is waiting. He did not't even close the tank. I was made to go away and the the person who was collecting the money did not give the balance to me. I closed the fuel tank and forgoted to take the money and went away. My question is:

1. Why the operator has not close the fuel tank. If it is his duty to open he should have close it after filling the petrol. Why he has asked me to take the scooter away.

2. Why the cash operator has taken the money and gone to the machine without giving the balance to me. When I have taken the petrol and given him the money he should have then and there make my dues.

After 15 minutes I came to know that he has not given me the balance Rs. 300/-. I came back to the petrol pump. firstly he refused to recognized me. When I shouted at him then he recognized but has not paid me the money back. I went to the manager and told him the whole episode, he just assured that, if there is excess cash he will return it to me.

It is not the first time. on previous two occasions they have not mixed the mobile with the petrol. When my scooter start giving trouble, I went to my mechanic, he told me the dry petrol has been filled.

I m very much embarassed with this whole episode. I would like you to take some strict action against them and I would sure you sir that I will never visit any Indian Oil Petrol Pump in future

It was very bad experience with IOC petrol pump. the worker are so claver.they are not working properly.Everytime customers complaning that they are not filling petrol properly. for ex: if we fill petrol 100 they filled only 40-50 rupees.

Please take neccessary action against them.

Premium Petrol — Water in petrol (Indian oil Nehru Nagar, Delhi)

I filled Premium Petrol for Rs 300 from an Indian Oil Gas Station in Nehru Nagar, Delhi. after that my bike shows starting problem, and it stuck down after some time.

I reached a mechanic and after detailed check-up, he said that my petrol tank contains nearly 2 liters of water. He emptied the whole tank and cleaned tank and carburetor etc... and charged Rs 400. I lost 400+1 day salary.

Who will compensate this? Why this kind of adulteration happens from a big company like Indianoil corp?.

Indian Oil Normal Petrol — Cheating at petrol pump while filling tank

Dear sir,
I went to Amar service station (petrol pump) to fill my tank on 3-2-11 at 12.12 pm and asked them to fill the tank fully .While they were filling my tank , the person who collects the money diverted my attention as a result of which I lost track of the reading.Before I turned to hear what he was saying, the reading was 20 litres but when I turned back ,within seconds, it was 37 litres. Before I realised , they quickly closed the transaction . The bill came to Rs.2,432. When I started the car, the needle which indicates the status of petrol in the car was showing just little more than half tank full. The moment I became suspiscious, the person who distracted me began apologising.Then, since I had a doubt, I wanted to speak to the manager of the pump but none of the higher officials were present at the pump. The same people asked me to join the line again so they could show me that the tank was full .However , it was not. So he filled 6.7 litres more into my car. It was still not showing full tank.
I have few questions -
1.How can a reading change from 20 to 37 litres within 10-15 seconds?
2. How can a car with 40 litres capacity entertain 37 + 6.7 litres of petrol , (after having some already present) ?
3.How can the manager not be present at the site?
4.How can the servicemen close the transaction without the customer's consent?
I have paid for the transaction through credit card and my bill details are as follows :
Amar Service Station, Marathahalli, date - 3-2-11, Bill number- 19984 for Rs 2432 and 19986 for Rs 442.
I am extemely dissapointed with this kind of service which resulted in a loss of many litres for me. I felt unsafe and hence left the place immediately after paying the bill.
Sir, if you can address this issue at the earliest , it will ensure that such incidents will not be repeated again and people like me will not be cheated.

This is to draw your kind attention that have newly purchased a Maruti Ritz Diesel Car bearing registration No. MH-02-BT-2256 from M/s. Spectra Motors Limited.
I have my office at Bhayander (E), and usually fill diesel in my car at your petrol pump in reference above. The service of my car was due in the last week when it was send to the same motor agent who after checking the car found that the diesel is adulterated with kerosen and due to that the engine of my car has suffered damages. I have got the things rectified but the motor agent strictly warned against filling the car at the same place.
I therefore seek your explanation as to the adulteration being carried out by your agent and also the damages which my car suffered in the process. If I do not receive any satisfactory reply I have no alternative but to take further steps.

I am from Mumbai, and this incident has happened twice at the breach candy petrol pump (next to the popular mmafco) .. when i ask them to fill normal petrol.. the INDIAN OIL PETROL PUMP fills extra premium always.. its irritating cause its more expensice and mixing fuel is so bad for my car ruining the effeciency of my car!they should look into the matter!

Let me bring to your notice that openly cheating @ India Oil Petrol pump so called "Madhu Enterprise " Dealers : India Oil corporation Ltd Sy No 152/2 Kodhihalli, HAL Airport Main Road, Bangalore -8.

Unfortunately i had visited this petrol pump on 15/May/2011 @ 18:40 where i have ask for 500/Rs of petrol to my Car GJ-1-HC-5009 and requested for cleaning of my car.

Surpassingly i was only customer @ petrol pump which give me very unhealthy feeling but i had ignored it.

After filling up fule i have been inform that there no cleaning service available(Where i can see so much of staff were roaming around).

I have been charged to HDFC Credit Card Machine where i had requested for Citibank Card Machine, owner doesn't have manner to speak to customer was about to fight with me where i have raise my concern towards the same.

Worst thing is that he used very abused words in front my family as well as ask me show this kind of concern @ Gujarat as my car was belongs to gujarat.

Lastly i have notice fule was filled up only 6.19 L which should be 6.79 L (Which is open cheating).(@ rate of 73.10 for premium petrol)

I am writing this in regards to Kalpana Agencies, Coimbatore. I have Indian Oil Citi Bank Card and has been a customer of Indian Oil for last 7 years. But this particular pump, kind of cheat their customers and are really rude in their behavior. I asked them if they have a citi bank swipe system and they said yes but took the card and swiped it in HDFC. When asked why they are doing so, they are really rude even to the level of threatening me. The manager and the supervisor are really harsh and they should at least get consent fromn the customers if they are not swiping in what is told. This puts the customers unwanted penalty. Though the ampount is very less, but still it should be informed and they shouild be polite. Please call them and take necessary action such that they are kind to people.

This is to bring to your kind notice that there is tremendous malpractice happening at Prakash Pumps (IOC) petrol pump besides Kaka ka Dhaba.The petrol guys are so maipulative that when i told them to fill my car fuel for 500 bucks, i saw the 3 guys co-ordinating between them(fishy), with one asking for money, the other behind the pump-behind and one filling the fuel.They showed me 0 but when it was 290 odd, out of the 3 guys 1 fellow asked me for money covering me and in 2 seconds what i see made me shock - 500 Rs exact.The guy behind the pump moved immediately after i paid the amount.Kindly look into this matter with seriousness as even my wife had similar problem the same day early in the morning( Date[protected]

Indian oil petrol pump employees are very casual and careless about their customer today i went to Belgaum Indian Oil ( BB Hosamani, Nehru Nagar ) to fill petrol in my bike, Please fill petrol of 20 Rs, the worker Mr Anand and the total staff told me, sir 20 rupees petrol is not available in our petrol pump, if you want to fill the petrol pay 30 rupees, so i told him please fill the petrol of 20, the worker answer was no, and total staff behaviour is not good with customer, i am working in arihant motor as serivece advisor, we have dealer ship of Suzuki Motors and Force Motor and daily we will purchase 2000 to 3000 rupees, even though i told him i am working suzuki infornt of your petrol pump, even though they did not fill the petrol. in the petrol pump there is toll free number[protected] iam trying this phone number from 9:30 to 12:30 the phone was engage, so why you put the toll free number in petrol pump. i told the mr Anand and other worker, i will put the complaint to indian oil, there answer was whatever want do it, it does't matter to us.

So why should we fill the petrol in your indian oil, past five year i filling petrol in only indian oil, this type of service will give to customer, where should the customer will go.

So please take the proper action against the person.if not take proper action then i will go the PRESS

On Sunday 12.02.2012, when I was in Chandigarh to attend an official meeting, after meeting returning to Patiaia I went to Karan Filling & Service Station ( Adhoc) in Sector-44, Chandigarh to fill my car's petrol tank.I said the attendant to fill tank & gave him Rs. 1500/-. The attendant punched Rs. 1500/- on the machine & started filling the petrol tank. When meter was showing petrol for Rs. 1000/-, the attendant started cleansing front windscreen & started asking me to spray more water on wind screen. My attention was on the meter. When I was spraying water suddenly the meter jumped & attendant asked that tank is filled. When I saw on the meter It was only showing amount Rs. 1500/- but not showing litres & cost of petrol. I shouted on the attendant & asked him why meter is not showing liters & price per litre. He did not gave me clear answer. I asked him to give me computerized bill but he did not do so & give me manual bill No. 3885, dated 12.02.2012. I asked about Mob. No. of their Sales Officer but he showed his negligence about it. This incident happened near about 6.00 PM. In this way he filled less petrol of about Rs.300/- . This is not for first time, it happened a lot of times not with me but also with my friends.

I need justice otherwise it will force me to go to media/consumer court.

Kindly warn the owner of this Petrol Pump that this type incidents will help in cancelling the licence.

Sir, I the undersigned Savin Prasad.B is a regular customer of Indian Oil Petrol Pumps. This complaint is regarding filling less quantity of petrol regularly by pump operators at Kamal Agency, Venkateshpuram, Bangalore 48

This incident is happening everyday, reason I am a regular customer and put petrol everyday for Rs 50 and also pay the same to the operator, however they stop it when its Rs 49.35 paise EVERY DAY, I also know that 0.65 Paise is not at all a amount to complaint but I would like to bring this to your notice and also expect an action to be taken towards this pump operator reason being, when it is stopped at 49.35 I demanded them to fill in the petrol for the money which I give the response which I get from them is nothing, today I asked them to fill it properly after it stopped at 49.35 paise the operator asked me if I will pay the addition if it goes beyond 50- I said yes, the operator plugged in the petrol till the reading went to 50.65 paise and demanded for one rupee more and I was not let go till I pay the 1 rupee, my concern is when the operator is not willing to let 65 paise for day, why should I leave it every day. It's been 2 and Half Year this happening to me... I demanded for a bill to take this media or anywhere possible but the bill was also not given to me. Please check and take this serious and take action towards them. To your kind information I am also taking this to media.

There is a petrol pump on NH just near by AKASHGANGA VIHAR in Ahirwan, which is 3 km east from Ramadevi Chauraha. The all staff of the petrol pump while giving petrol to the bikes give less petrol to all the bike/ car persons. After giving petrol to a person he does the pipeline (between nozzle to meter) empty in a vessel, by doing so the next person who is taking petrol gets 300 ml almost less petrol . By doing so they are looting the people. All the people cannot check on him. All the managers and pump owner is involved in this activity.

Not such a experience at DEVEGOWDA. But i had discover a trick that petrol pump ppl are doing in Bangalore. Following incident has happened 3-5 times in last month. This how there trick work.
I ask them to fill petrol of 200, then guy filling the petrol show the zero meter and start the pump and stop after filling for 50. So then one will say it was 200, then he will say "Oh I heard it 50", then at this point another guy will approach for money and by the time you are done with him. First guy is finish and showing you 150 at meter claiming it had filled 50+150. But this had not happen he had only fill for 150. Its quite a trick now dayz prevalent in Bangalore. So beware. You can do any of the following to escape from trick.
1.When guy say its done at 50, just say thank you and ride away.
2.Ignore the 2nd man when it approach you just stick your eyes on meter.
I had tried both with 2nd you will the quantity you were looking for, but can also landup into argument. 1st is the easiest but you endup looking yourself soft.

My office is near to that petrol pump. And i strongly agree with you. these people have attitude as if they are doing favor on us..

Playing with meter reading, distracting consumer, talking like gundas, asking for money on filling air are the common malpractises seen here.

Even if you complain there its of no use, so its better to go the petrol pump next to it and save yourself from frustration.

I really had very bad experiences here several times. I asked him to fill up petrol for Rs1500. I purposely got down so that I can view meter reading and keep an eye on it. I gave my Credit card to that person. When it got filled half way that man came and started explaining about some offer. He offered me Bill even if i didn ask for. The moment I lost my attention they took advantage of the same. When I returned to car and saw my meter reading it was totally incorrect. If I fill that much pointer reading should have been on higher side. Trust me this incidents might be happening with so many people everyday. As it happened to me in Past. Since then I pay attention. But these guys are smarter. We really need to bring this to public notice. As it could be someone else tomorrow. Please let me know if someone can take strict action against such frauds.

I had very bad experience at this petrol pump. They literally cheat people openly. Once I asked him to fill the petrol for 100 Rs, he said that he had set the meter on 50 rs and took out the pipe within 2-3 sec. I had to pay 100 rs for the petrol worth of RS 50. I argued with the worker but he did not pay attention. Please avoid going to such fraud place.
