[Resolved]  Indian Oil Corporation / Indane Gas — COMPLAINT OF EVERY NATURE IS THERE.

I AM A CONSUMER OF INDANE GAS REGISTERED WITH ETAWAH GAS AGENCY, ETAWAH (NO. BEING E-2114).

1. THE AGENCY STAFF IS TOO RUDE/INSENSITIVE.
2. THEY DO NOT ALLOW REFILLS BEFORE 40 DAYS
OF THE LAST REFILL. AND FOR THAT TOO PERSONAL
ATTENDANCE IS COMPULSORY WITH A BOOKING SLIP
ISSUED BY THEM, NO PHONE CALL IS ENTERTAINED FOR
THIS PURPOSE.
3. WORST IS THAT THEY HAVE STOPPED SUPPLYING
ANY CASH MEMO. NOW A DAYS ITS CASH & CARRY
AFFAIR, THAT PRE-EMPTS ANY LEGAL
CONSUMER GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL.

Indian Oil Agency(Pratna Enterprises) — Complaint against Gas Agency(Indian Oil)

My consumer no.L941 and I am a resident of N.I.T.Faridabad NH-2. I have a Indian Gas connection for LPG from Prathna Enterprises, Air Force Road, Jawahar Colony, N.I.T. Faridabad.
I have been trying to contact the said agency
since 18th april, 2008(4 days) over phone deseperately continously (atleast 50 times)for booking the gas. But am very sorry to bring to your notice that there is no response from them. The tel. nos. provided by them[protected], 2473039) and not acccessible consequently, the gas has not been booked. On a previous ocassion also I had experienced similar kind of problem but could however manage to talk to them after a week.
Kindly look into the matter and ask the distributor to set his system in order so that we are able to contact him for gas booking. You may appreciate the precious time and effort already lost by me in this regard.

Dear Sir,

I got transfer from Delhi to chennai in May 2007. Also my gas connection got transfer to Chennai. I got gas twice from the distributor. Now they are asking ration card without which they will not give gas. Now I am cooking in Heater. I am staying here in rented house.
Please let me know ration card is must for getting gas.

Indane Gas — Cyling Booking - Distributor not responding

I booked gas cylinder on 27th August. I have not received cylinder till date. Distributor asked for additional money last time that was refused.. is this real reason for not sending the gas cylinder?

Dear sir,

the local supplier of indane gas demanding ration card for supply of gas though i am a existing customer of indane gas . as my ration card was surrendered at Mumbai and i came on transfer to tamil nadu i have submitted application for ration card to the local authorities but i could not get till date. the non supply of gas to me creat hardship to me and my family members. though the local govt authorities issued notices not to demand ration card while booking gas the local dealer demanding the same.
I strongly agree this complaint. Im also customer of indane. I know very well that those people making bills towards our connection with the cylinder cost of 350Rs. and they are forced customer to get late delivery. inbetween one cycle they sells one refill in outside in the cost of 750 to 800Rs. Now the agency getting 50% of excess money in unaccount. This happens to the Crores of connection.

This is not a general issue. Because none of family which is having single cylinder connection can wait for refill about 10 to 15 days. Then till the cylinder comes what they will eat. I strongly objects the sales team of IOC that they never audit any customers connection book with the agency record.

If any one o[censored]nsleepy sales manager of IOC refer the customer connection book with agency record secretely they can find fault 100%.

All Ok. As a ordinary citizen How do we know that the IOC representatives are engourages the above activity?

I have applied for LPG gas connection at "Jiban Jyoti, Shop no.- F45, Dakshinapan, 2, Gariahat Road (S), Kolkata 700068, 99100991, Ph 423-7774, 423-7078" on 30 June 2008. I have received the confirmation letter for the new connection of serial no 37 on 1- September 2008. I approached to the shop with the appropiate document. They told me that they have not received the acknowledgement letter, so they will not give me the new connection. They told me to approach the postoffice to send the acknowledgement to Jiban Jyoti. I did the same. After 20 days I again approched to the office with letter, but they are regid that they will give connection when the acknowledgement is receipe to them.

Please do the needful and let me know what to do in this case.

I had gone to the Indane Gas Distributor - M/s. Vasant Enterprises, situated at No.30, next to Spastic Society of Karnataka, Indira Nagar, Bangalore - 560038, today to take an application form.

The staff there refused to even issue the application form without a Ration Card.

I am a citizen of this country, with an income/earning with which I am able to manage my Ration requirement without going to the Government Ration Shop.

I am a citizen who strongly believes that the Government Ration Cards/Ration Shop concept was conceived for the benefit of people who cannot afford the retail open market costing for a living.

Now,
I am a PAN Card holder, issued by the Income Tax Department, Govt. of India.
I am a EPIC Card holder, issued by the Election Commission of India.
I am a DRIVING LICENCE holder, issued by the RTO-East, Gov. of Karnataka.
I have a BSNL Land Line Connection in my name.
I have a Credit card in my name.

With all these documents, why do I need a Ration Card to get a Gas connection ?
Is it because the Ration Card is a document that is Flawless or Non-Tamperable ?
Let me draw your attention to the recent revelation in the Karnataka State Legislative Assembly that there over 15 lakh BOGUS RATION CARDS in Karnataka and that the Food and Civil supplies department will take necessary steps to cancel the bogus cards at the earliest.

This being the case, why should I be denied the right to obtain a Gas Connection ?

I am having problem with the above Gas agency for last Month
they don't pickup Phones for Booking, one has to go personally for booking then again have to visit to complaint that Cylinder has not reached even after 15 to 20 days.
Cylinder comes less in weight ranging from 1/2 kg to 4 kg.

Please do need full urgent basis because this is very serious matter and this problem creat harashment
So, please solve this problem as soon as possible.
Can anyone help on this.

I would like to inform you that i am a LPG costomer of indane, residing in kharghar(Navi Mumbai), On 18/02/2009 i have given booking for refilling the cylinder through my distributor M/s Anushka Indane, Nerul.
I am a single cylinder customer and myself and wife both are in service.we are available only on saterday
othertwise after 7.0 pm everday.which we have clarified and given in writing.
We have not received the gas till the date.we called them and reminded on 21st and 28th of feb2009 but they replied just like"aj melaga" every time the reply is same for getting them in line is very defficult because the line is always busy, even if you get the line, they diconnect the phone before completing the conversation.it is difficult to get them again on line.the office staff of the distributer who picks up the phone all, they never speak politly or good maner it seems we are thier mercy.They never give booking number while book the cylinder(refilling).this office is functioning in a very irresponsible fashion. please do the needfull at the earlist. is it possible to change their atitude towords the cosumers ? please do the needfull at the earlist

i m customer of "rima indane" at, boriavi, ta, anand, di.kaira. gujarat.
we get bottle after 1 month of booking date & can't book second bottle before 21 days of delivery. in this period we get bottle after 1 month & 21 days, so how can we cook?

I am a customer of Anbu Gas Agency, Arumbakkam, Chennai-106, Customer No-14735, for the past six months the gas supply is insufficient and very much delayed, the say that gas is not supplied from the IOC, but the persons who deliver the gas selling the gas in Rs.600/= in out account immediately, the officers incharge must take action for smooth gas supply without fraudulence.

IOC-Indane — Lack of response from dealer

I have an Indane coneection with consumer number 22482. W are serviced by your dealer Prathana Agencies, Moovarasampattu near Madipakkam.It has become extremely difficlut to get them on phone.They have three phones but all are reported to be engaged all the time.Either the number of phones they have is inadequate to handle their customers or they have more cuatomers than they can service satisfactorily.My self and my wife are both senior citizens and can not be expected to go in person to book cylinder refills every time. More over it involves auto rickshaw fare os Rs 40 either way.As the situation has become unbearable and is exasperating I am forced to complain.This situation has been faced by me for quite a while. This time we booked the cylinder refill more than 10 days back by going in person but we have no idea when it will come. For the last 5 days I keep trying their phones many times a day but with little success. We are afraid that our preent cylinder will get exausted and we will face troubles. We request your immediate interventions.

indian oil gas (indane) — Booking cyclinder

My Consumer number is 5621 and my distributer is Blue Flame Indane. I am a resident of Vashi, Navi Mumbai. I have been told that I cannot book the gas before 20 days due to which there is a risk by which my both the cyclinder can get empty. I have got a small baby so the consumtion of gas is more.
Appreciate if you could look into this matter on priority and allow me to book gas before 20 days
