[Resolved] Indian Passport Office — delay in issuing passport | |
My File no is Z034015 of 2009. I deposited my passport application at Shakarpur passport office on 4TH April’2009. This passport office falls under RK Puram regional office. Since last one and half month the site is showing that “Police Report is clear, Application is under process.” All the passport application made on the same date and even after that has been issued and cleared. I urgently need the passport as I am a Chartered Accountant and have to go abroad for some specialised training. So I request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful. Applied for passport on 15.06.2009 in Thatkal Scheme. After remittting the money they told me it will reach your home within seven days. On checking the status on 18th june the status was passport ready on 18.06.2009. But till date not received. Tody the status is blank why? The matter is veryvery urgent. What can I do for getting the passport immediately.

I had applied for passport on 15.06.2009 thru thatkal. After remitting the fee the authority told me it will reach you within 7 days. But not yet received. On 18 the status was passport ready on 18.06.09. But today the status is blank. My application No. coc b03657109 and key no. [protected]. The matter is very urgent and I had to attend a meeting at Singapore next week. What should I do for getting the passport immediately.

I urgently need the passport as have to go abroad . So I request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

but still, i didnt get the passport, while i used to checked the status, it always displayed your police report has not been received. but police report has been completed before the 70 days...
then again i went to the district office they also told your paper has been forwarded to the passport office. and they have given the reference no (016996)..
i need urgent passport for going to foreign . so, please take appropriate action for the issuing my passport...

i didn't see the worst like Indian passport system, really i am very frustrated by these people.i don't know whether they r working or simply sitting.i am very much proud to be an Indian, but now a days i am feeling bad to be an Indian, because every where corruption, government not doing good.For my brother i applied passport in 2007 june, i didnt get passport as early the menstioned date, i got my mother passport after nearly 20 months.Now my wife applied in chennai passport office on july 4th, still we didnt get passport, she went passport office nearly 6 times, still they r not giving proper response.
Please, if India want to be developed country, correct government system,

I am Surya posting my comments from Sydney, Australia. I have applied passport for my wife on 23-Nov-2009. When I check the status on 17-Feb-2010, it was showing the passport will be dispatched by 18-Feb-2010 but after 19-Feb-2010 it was showing passport has been granted and will be dispatched by 28-Feb-2010. How can we trust these statements which are changing at regular intervals. Even we send a mail to rpo.[protected]@mea.gov.in to check why ther was a delay but there was no response from them.
