Indian Passport Office — Police Report is incomplete and the case is being examined | |||
Hi, I am Vishnu Dayal Srivastava and I have applied for the passport around three months ago. I checked online status but it showed "police inquiry is incomplete" however, both CBI,and thane level inquiry is done and they assured that report will be submitted by them. I have submitted the application for passport on 10/10/2011 in Lucknow(UP) passport Office. The officers from local Jais, Thane and CBI officer from Chatrapati Shau Ji Magharaj Nagar, Gaurigunj have completed the verification more than 1 month ago. I am really upset with online system because I tried to call you many times but always heard only "busy" message and also dint get any reply of my emails. Your help would be appreciated. File Reference No:CAL-A[protected] of RATNA BANERJEE Date of Application:[protected]
Grievance: I have applied for a passport in Kolkata on 07.07.2011. On 10th August'11, verification from local police station Serampore was completed and then completed by Chinsurah HQ and in both the cases the police reports were OK.
I visited both the DIB offices and it is confirmed by both the offices that the Police verification report of mine is complete and OK and finally was sent to Passport office, Kolkata on 16.11.2011.
But still in Passport Application status, it is showing "Police Report is incomplete and is being examined":
I have requested through mail many times but it is really a matter of regret that neither received any response nor my passport.
My son stays in US and needs me there urgently. Once again request to please arrange to issue my passport without any further delay.

Passport Office — Police Report is incomplete and the case is being examined
I've applied for passport File No B019294 in May 21, 2008. After a week my police verification completed. Now the status being updated is "Police Report is incomplete and the case is being examined ".Why the passport verification has been delayed and what is the meaning of the status message.
