[Resolved] Indian Postal Department — change of parcel items | |
Respected sir/mam I recieved a parcel on 19 th mar 2009 by post, from my brother who lives in bangalore .he parceled me 4 top and a sari, the total cost of all the items was Rs 5000. but when i opened up the parcel it was not containing the above mentioned items instead of above items it was containing 4 old kurtas and a pajam . the parcel items has been changed by the postal department. however when we contacted postal master he said it not are fault.my brother has also given the written application of the complain to the postmaster of the post office from were he sended this parcel that is in nagar bhavi post office bangalore. but they also seems to be careless about it. now we don't know hwoto take this matter forward so that other peoples don't suffer and the indian postal department should take these things seriously and must act against the culprits Was this information helpful? | |

I wanted to bring this to your notice that, i had purchased a lens from HKBNS ([protected]@hkbns.com) from Ebay.com at $426.99 and paid using Paypal, on 15th September 2012, but still not received the Item at my shipping Address. I contacted the Seller, he replied that he had checked with his Postal department and found that it has been shipped on 15th Septmeber 2012, and ask to me wait further, and says it definetly reaches me. Today on 5th October 2012, I have visited R.K.M Branch of Post office, Itanagar I found the parcel and received it but it was devoid of the materials which I had purchased. the parcel item has been changed by the postal department and it was containing with some shredded papers and old torn magazines.
This is my kind request to the Consumer Court to look deep into this subject matter and at least endeavor to find out the person who did this, because if you do not take any action it would give these persons intestinal fortitude to do these kind of wicked acts, which would obviously change the POST OFFICE DEPARTMENT name to BUNCH OF CROOKS one or the other fine day.

The Total cost of the parcel was more than Rs 24, 350.00
I look forward for a justice from your end.
