I want to share an experience what has happened on 02/08/09 on BASAVA EXPRESS Train from bagalakot to yeshwantapura(Bangalore) Train No 6514. Actually My ticket was not yet confirmed(waiting list) then before taking a train I checked with Ticket checker before taking the train, he promised that he is going to confirm my ticket after 2 stops, Later He started behaving rudelly and he confirmed in front of me many people's whose waiting list number larger than my waiting list. The person who is giving more money(bribe) he used to confirm, This is one of worst department which I ever seen (Corrupted).My Humble request to conserned railway officer to take a step to stop such activity.

Namaskar sir, I hvae boarded the shatabdi Express from Jhansi to Gwalior on 31 Jul 2009 in chair car bearing ticket No 53862, coach No C/3 seat No -8. My complaint is that the refreshment was served after 40 minuts where as the total travel time is one hour appx, secondly I incl last six-seven passangers have been served only tea, soan and bread slice only, No samosa & any cold drink have been served.When I asked the service man to serve the samosa he said " Sir SAMOSA TO KHATAM HO GAYE HAIN" then I asked him to call manager but till Gwalior station no body has come to know the short comings. Sir my submission is that pl check the Menu and if found any negliency then imos the penalty.
tte — Miss management of AC Coach
I was travelled in AC-III tire from Muzaffarpur to Lokman Tilak Terminal on 30 Jul 09 with Tatkal Seva Ticket. I have some request to make easy to travel with train.(a) TTE in train, allowing to accomodate in AC Coach who have general ticket with takeing some money i.e. Rs. 100/-Per person e t c. These persons are disturbing to the other who is travelling to take reservation in same coach. Same has been seen from Muzaffarpur to Jabalpur in AC - III coach.
(b) Before 24 Hrs, AC III tire coach from Muzaffarpur is getting WL - 10 and after accomodate, Coach was vacate.
(c) Food served by the Pentary was so bad and unmanage . Only one type of food was served by saying i have only this type of foods which is not specified the quality of food recommended by Railway.
The food details are as under -
(a) Paratha - not in good condition and well cooked.
(b) Rice - Plain
(c) Vegetable - only potato and nutrela
(d) Pickle
(e) Water
After this nothing has been served . After request also nothing has been done by the manager of Pentary of Pawan Exp from 30 Jul 09 to 31 Jul 09.
You are requested to please issue guidence to the pentary contractor to give suitable food, tea, coffee, soft drink e t c as and when requested by the passangers.
You are also requested to please take remadial action to avoid accomodation o[censored]nauthorised passengers except reservation persons by which they can not feel like unsafe.

Western Railway, BORIVLI — poor transportation and basic facilities
1. The two newly constructed platforms 7 & 8 are a BIG SECURITY HAZARD. There is only one exit point for each one of the platforms. In case of any chaotic situation, there could be a worst kind of a mishap. There SHOULD be at least 2 more exits for each one of the platforms.2. The heights of the platforms is very low. Passengers have to literally jump from the trains while getting down. As a result, passengers are hurt almost on a daily basis..
3. The WR should construct Platform No: 9 ( and 10) on Dahisar side of Borivli Station Platform No 1and terminate all Borivli bound trains from Virar / bhyander / vasai etc on these platforms. Presently, these trains are terminated at Platform Nos 1, 2 and 3. A very large number of people from Virar etc get down only to board trains starting from Borivli. Thus the life of people staying has becoming more and more miserable.
4. Will the Western Railway please think of starting slow (shuttle) trains only upto Andheri and back during the peak hours? A large number of passengers travel short distances like Kandivli, Malad, Goregaon, Jogeshwari and Andheri. They are forced to keep standing in the passage making it jam packed. If these trains are started they will go along way in segregation of the passengers and life will be little more worth living...

I need a small clarification, every monday i get down the Bangalore exp train in Kachiguda i take 3Ac ticket in that train...But as soon as i get down i have an MMTS to go to hi tec city ..can i travel in MMTS to hi tec city without taking ticket...Will i be fined for not taking ticket...Let me know thanks

I have filed a TDR on 27-Feb-2009 for PNR No. [protected] but after passing 6 months, I didn't get received the refund. One thing I didn't understand is that when wait-listed passengers are not allowed to board the train, then why should we file TDR for them?

Please do not worry about your vote bank. Now you have been assigned the portfolio for five years but just don't stick to West Bengal as Vote Bankers will not ever never travel by AC Coaches.
Condition of Delhi - Ajmer Shatabdi Express is in pathetic conditions. Coahes have not been cleaned for many days, seats are broken, fabric is not used instead cheap rubber is there, very poor quality of food supplied and waiters ask for tips after the service of Dinner. Toilets are bad and stinking.
Dear Ms. Minister do we pay a high price for all these dirty things. it is to inform you that my self gaurav kedia travelling on dated 05.08.09 on kushinagar exp1016 gonda to burhanpur and my seat no is 33 in 2ac when i was tarvelling in train i have lost the ticket at gonda station then i gave the id proof and give 50 rs of plenty to the conductor and he gave me the recipt but the mishappening done by the vigilence officer was travelling in front of my seat and wanted to sit alone in my coach but if ihe could do then he ask the conductor that from whose permission you have made the ticket dear sir it is the rule of government that if the electronic ticket is lost then you can pay the penlety and show you id card you can travell in train butr the vigilence officer doesn:t listen any thing and send me to sleeper class till kanpur and when he leave the train then i have a seat in 2ac dear sir kindily take the needfull step so that the goodwill of railway remain maintined thanks Rgds gaurav

I was travelling by 2882 - 'Garib Rath' on 05.08.09 with my family. The PNR NO of my ticket is

I repeatedly reminded him for the bed roll but he turned his deaf can to my call. I found him busy to converse with the unauthorised passengers in the compantment to do submitting for their sitting arrangements. At cuttuck the TTE some Mr.Pal came with his colleague and the bed roll staf when i asked him to mention the time on the B/R no -296375 receipt he denied to do so and behave with me roughly as if i was travelling without ticket. both his attitude and behaviour were so rough that it seemed to me to be nothing but wild. when i told him that i would complain against him for misbehaving with the passengers he seemed not to be bothered as he advised me to do whatever i liked. my honest question is before your kindself if a railway officer can behave such a way with the passengers.if not plese take steps against such official to keep the image of the Indian Railway Perfect.

sir mai hodal distt. palwal (haryana) se hu yaha jo local train (emu) chalte hein, jo mahila wale dibbe hote hein unme hodal se lekar palwal ke beech mein ladke itni gunda gardi karte hein aur mahilao ke sath battameeji se pesh aate hein ..hodal se palwal ke beech mein koi police wala nahi hota unhe rokne ke liye ... aur mostly log unme without ticket hote hein aur yaha koi check karne ke liye tc bhi nahi hote... please sir kuch kijiye aisa kab tak chalega...??

This is I am writing in reference to my booking done on dated 22. 08.09, Pnr No [protected], [protected] and was to travel from Aligarh to Delhi via Train no 2569 (Gareeb Rath), as the train status was late for four hours from its scheduled time so we have to arrange immediately a new ticket to attend our examination in New Delhi at 12:00 pm.
Also, the announcement was made greatly after the departure timings of train & we had no other option left except to inquire here and there because of our urgency. Thereafter we also tried to cancel the e-ticket but the site showed us an error message which is also pasted below for your kind reference.
The chart was prepared for this ticket you cannot cancel this ticket.
Sir, may I request you to refund our whole money paid for the ticket due to your severe inconvenience. Also, would request you to improve your railway services in future as this has become a regular problem for users like us.

first of all, try to purchase the tkt from RTSA rly authorised agent, i[censored] r purchasing the ticket from any irctc autorised agent and taking ur ticket wait listed that is risky becoz i[censored] dont gent conifirmed accomodation after charting of that train ur ticket automatically cancelled and the amount of the ticket credited automatically in the concerning account from where it has been debited.
go and approach to vendor and asked for the amount if he refuses to do so plz make a complaint against vendor to irctc u can also approach consumer forum

I am terribly shocked to experience the poor security while I was traveling from Varanasi – Mumbai on 26 july. I had a reservation in 2nd class in seat no 41-39 coach A1, while reaching Mumbai we found that strolly bag was forced open by breaking the lock and a handbag (containing Jwellary, cell phone and Cash) worth over a lac was missing.
After frequent travels it is really pathetic that after paying so high for the A/c tickets we get this experience and loss. I have registered a case with Allahabad Railway police last week.
I would like to bring your kind attention on this socking experience and poor quality of security on such renowned train and elite class. Request you to look in this matter and expedite the further action on this to nab culprits. Coach attendants role need to be examined too in such matter.
