In all the pantry cars of Indian railway pantry car ,they are nit providing biscuit with tea.The qulity of food is aldo extremely bad.

Subject: Complaint against the boy who sale the blankets and pillows during travel in Gareeb Rath Express Train no. 12518 dated 20th august 2011 from Guwahati to Kolkata.

Respected Sir,

With due respect we Citizen of India, want to bring in to your kind attention about the problem we faced during the journey from Guwahati to Kolkata on 20/8/11by train no. 12518 Gareeb Rath Express. Following trouble we faced in 3rd AC Coach No. G-5.

No facility of Blankets and Pillows.
there are only one person and he sales the Blankets and Pillows on rs.25/- and he sale Alcohol also inside the train.

We request you to kindly pay attention on our complaint and take necessary action so that passenger would not face these problems in future

Register my complain and protest with anger against this regular delay in south eastern HWH - Mumbai line; spcly it has broken all the tolerance limit today of the delay arrival of Samarsata Exp.train no#12151 dtd.26, 08, 11 which is delaying till now is 8hours. Dear Sir / Madam,

I would like to bring your kind attention that We live in Kadugodi (Whitefield), Bangalore and the entire people are suffering due to Whitefield railway authorities irresponsibility. Kadugodi is the place where many patience are coming to get treatment from Saibaba Hospital and everyday there are thousands of people are coming and staying at Kadugodi. Earlier there was railway passage ( Railway Gate) for them to reach kadugodi residance. Due to the over bridge for road transport, they have closed the railway passage and also keeping two or three Goods trains. It is not convenient for all to cross neither through over bridge( It is very narrow and only vehicles can pass through) nor through railway lane.

We suggest Railway to have foot bridge across the lane is more convenient for the public to cross the railway lane and reach the residence. many of patience and old people are struggle to cross the lane from the bus stand to the residence. there is no other way for them to use. To keep this difficulties, I request Railway Minister or authorities to put the Foot Bridge to resolve this.

Yesterday, 18th Sept, 2011 I along with my wife & daughter went to New Delhi Railway station to see off her parents. They were going to Kerala by Kerala Express (12626) from Platform No. 3. When we reached the station, I went to take Platform tickets for self & my wife. Unfortunately, there was a notice at the counter which read as "Platform ticket sales are temperorily stopped from 10.09.2011". Then I decided to go straight to the platform without taking the platform ticket because my in-laws, being senior citizens, needed help to take the luggage and put it in the right coach & seat number in the train. After seeing off them, we came out through the overbridge. At the exit point, we sayw 4-5 persons in white shirt & blue pants were standing and asked us for ticket. We told them that we came to sent off our parents and before entering to the platform, we tried to take the tickets, but there was no sale of the platform tickets. They did not agree with that and asked Rs. 506/- (Rs. 500 fine and 6 for platform ticket) from us. We told them that we came to see off our parents because they were not so familiar with Delhi and railway stations. Still they did not hear and after arguing 5 minutes, the official (???) told me that we could down your penalty to Rs. 253/- i.e. they would let my wife free and I was told to pay my fine. Again after some arguement, he again decreased the amout to Rs. 120/-. When I asked for the receipt, he said if I needed the bill, pay Rs.506/-. Otherwise, no bill would be given. The money which I paid has been gone to this bloody's pocket, without any proof. Above all, we could also see that there were so many people were freed without checking. I am still in a doubt that were they Railway officials or some bullshits??? When I asked about why this checking going on, he said, Railways got some threat from some terrorists that they would attack the railway station. If so, why did not they check at the time of entry??? In one side Anna Hazare is striking for corruption and in other hand, in the capital itself and the world's largest governmnet sector undertaking is having corrupted people. Who can save India???? I don't think any change will happen in the next 50years atleast.
Request the authorities to take a stringent action against these corrupted officials (Day : 18th Sept, 2011; Time : ~12 PM, Place : ND railway station, Ajmeri Gate Side). Form this information, you can findout the officials.

in TATKAL kota howrah exp. (12833) have 281 seats but when i opened status on 29th of sep. its showing only 19 seats available on 2nd of oct.(when tatkal not started yet) i.e. 3 DAYS BEFORE the date of travel. and for 3, 4, 5, 6 of oct it is still showing 281 seats available. something wrong going on the system of reservation.

Subject:REGARDING MISBEHAVIOUR BY THE COACH ATTENDENTS

I would like to bring your notice towards the pathetic condition made by the coach attendents in Howrah-chennai mail on 8th october, 2011.
Sir/Mam, they treat the railway as if it is their fathers property and talk rudely with the passengers. They demand money according to their wish from passengers for confirmation of a birth.They abuse when anyone question regarding their ill practice. It seems that Indian Railways is no longer people's rail.
Please kindly look into the matter so that thay dont repeat the same with the other passengers.Requesting for justice.

Dear Sir

I am Living in Hardoi, U.P. It is a state of U.P. My complaint is only about the stoppage of Express train.

There are so many trains which stops in Sahajehanpur(SPN) but didn't stop in Hardoi, So many times we are boarding an Express train and it directly stops in Lucknow. So again at that station we are suffring of without ticket, TT etc.and again we have to come back so instead of 60 km we have to travel 300 km.it is time and money both loss.

Actually I am working in Rudrapur and from rudrapur there are 2 trains 1.Garib Rath 2.Bagh Express both goes from Hardoi route but its stoppage is not in Hardoi.So I have to suffer a lot while going to my home place.

One more interesting thing is that the last Transport minister was from Hardoi.

It is my humble request to provide the stoppage the trains which are stopping in Sahajehanpur.

i have been put down from rail at MURI RAIL STATION. while they told that we are GRP POLICE IN civil uniform. on 4-November2011 at about 1am while i was going to hatia from bokaro station by DHANBAD LAP express then leave that station tow of them get it in running train. but one hold my hand at muri station. then after he asked for money. i asked his name but he struck me by giving three clap to my right ear. and put his hand to my shirt pocket and pick out money from it. then he took me to grp office.
where i knew that he was in nusa petroling coming from bokaro station" mishra ji" was calling him. then after due to late i have to leave journey. office staff not took any action of complains on him. and told me to take ticket for back journey and by Bajnath dham express i returned to bokaro station. again i complained to grp office then they also not took any step of complain. And then afraid me from another case.

Dear sir,

I also want to given you some suggestion to you for your customer.
For Example:-

If customer wants to go Baroda to Pune on that time ticket is not available he/she getting a ticket in waiting and his/her waiting in 25. and some passenger go Surat by that train and his/her ticket is confirmed after living his/her seat its free but on that time TC will take some money from other whose waiting no is 125 and he/she get seat but who don't get seat which waiting no is 25. It's fact of Indian railway i see and feel it also. Indian Railway TC is corrupted. And its also done with Tatkal waiting passenger also. if he/she don't get seat after when seat is empty than what is the meaning of tatkal and why public give a more money for tatkal. If customer get tatkal ticket in waiting of 13 than after some station when seat is also available on that time TC get money from other regular waiting person and he provide seat to them than what is the meaning of tatkal?


If possible then do something for customer who use Indian Railway regularly. If you do that than you get more passenger than now that's my challenge.

महोदय, नमस्कार.

अक्सर भारतीय रेल की ओर से सुविधाओं के बारे में बड़े बड़े दावे किये जाते है, वास्तव में हम मुसाफिरों को रेल गाडी के सफ़र में बहुत सारी दिक्कते आती है. दिन में सफ़र करने पर भी रात्रि भाडा ( आरक्षण के वास्ते ) चुकाना पड़ता है, उस के बावजूद गाड़ी में आरक्षण डिब्बे में हमें बैठने नहीं मिलता. बहुत ही संक्षेप उदहारण के साथ लिख रहा हूँ.

मेने दिनांक २८-११-२०११ सोमवार के दिन लिए अपने भाई और भाभी के साथ बोरीवली से वड़ोदरा आने के वास्ते आरक्षण करवाया था. (PNR NO. 855-0033321, TICKET NO. 68496587). गाडी नंबर १९०२३ फेरोजपुर जनता एक्सप्रेस, कोच नंबर था एस-४, बर्थ ४३, ४६ और ४८ था एवं डिब्बा क्रमांक प.रे ००२३०० था. उस डिब्बे में पास धारको ने कब्ज़ा कर रखा था, हमारा आरक्षण होते हुए भी हमें बैठने नहीं दिया जा रहा था, क्या ये उचित है ? वोही पास धारको ने हमसे झगडा भी किया /

थोड़ी देर बाद जब टिकट चेकर साहब आये, उनसे हमने शिकायत की, टिकट चेकर के पास आरक्षण सूचि थी, फिर भी वो हमसे सवाल कर रहे थे कौन आप की जगह पर बैठा है? हैरानी हुई जवाब सुनकर, बाद में उन्होंने हमें हमारी जगह पर ठीक तरह से बिठाया / अब सवाल ये है के जो इंसान तीन महीने पहले से टिकट आरक्षण कराता है, जो दिन में सफ़र करने के बावजूद रात्रि आरक्षण किराया देता है, वो अपने जगह बैठ भी न सके ये कैसी सुविधा है?

में जानना चाहता हूँ के पास धारक, आरक्षण कोच में या सुपर फास्ट गाडी में सफ़र कर सकता है? खुद पास धारक अपने डिब्बे से आम इंसान को, टिकट होने के बावजूद दक्के देके बहार उतार देत है, ये भारतीय रेल का कैसा इंसाफ है? सख्ती बरतने की ज़रूरत है/

दूसरी शिकायत मेरी ये थी के सीट नंबर ४८ बैठने लायक नहीं थी, पीछे से सपोर्ट नहीं था इसी लिए बैठने में असुविधा हो रही थी, इसकी जानकारी भी टिकट चेकर को दे थी, लेकिन उन्होंने कोई जवाब नहीं दिया / उस टिकट चेकर ने अपना नाम भी नहीं बताया/ सिर्फ जनता से पैसे कैसे वसूले जाये टिकट चेकर इस में ज्यादा ध्यान देते है/ दु:खद बात है /

में उम्मीद करता हूँ इस विषय में जाँच होगी और छोटे से छोटी शिकायत पर ध्यान ज़रूर देंगे / संतोष कारक जवाब की उम्मीद करता हूँ./

I would like to bring your attention to the harassment done to the Handicapped People when they go to buy a ticket from the counter producing their Concession Certificate.
Shouldnt there be a separate counter for the handicapped? If atall it is there, there is nobody to attend and assist the handicapped. They have to stand in the same queue as others to get their tickets done which is inhumane on your part.
The people sitting at the counter always have a problem making concessional tickets either have a problem with the stamp, it should be A ROUND STAMP or THE STAMP IS NOT CLEAR ENOUGH or THE NAME OF THE DOCTOR IS NOT LEGIBLE, etc. They always have a reason to avoid making such concessional tickets. I would like to mention one such place where they always have a problem with the Certificate whereas we have been getting concession from other counters in the city. This is the RAILWAY BOOKING COUNTER near ELGIN ROAD. They seem to have a problem every time.
Why dont you train your people enough in this matter so that they understand the value of other's time and stop being negligent towards them.
It would be nice if you could make the Concessional Certificates ONLINE and issue a Handicapped Card which could be verified by the authority when they are travelling. This Handicapped Card could be of the size of a PAN Card which is convenient to be carried than the normal A4/Legal size papers.
It is an earnest request to you to look into this matter and find a more convenient way so that the Handicapped People are saved from running around sometimes to the Government Hospitals and sometimes to the Railway Booking Offices for no reason. Hope you will look into this matter urgently and make India a better place to live in for the disabled.

Dear Sir,
I was started the journey from sealdah station on 08/02/2012, in S3, seat number 23. But one of the seat in very dirty condition for this I even informed to TTE and railways police force lots of time but there is no response from there end even we visited gaurd cabin but he was not available in the cabin.
Kindly look at the matter and resolve it urgently. We have crossed Mugalsarai station and we have hope early feed back from your end.

Dear respected sir/madam

my name is pankil shah. i came to India from usa . i was travelling from Baroda to mathura junction on 27th February in paschim express . first of all baroda platform is dirty and smells nasty. i need to be cleaned and sanitize, lot of garbage and papers were on the platform. moreover, train from inside is dirty with garbage and residue. in the train there were lot of people who were extra without their seat numbers and they were travelling . i heard from some people that they gave 300 to 400 rupees to TC per seat to sit on confirmed passengers seat which is not right.this need to stop immediately. the food they sell in the train is not of good quality and it upset the stomach and they charge more money for the garbage food.the tea they sell in train is very thin mixed with more water less milk and they charge 5 rupees for tea. bathroom in the train is not clean and no tissue, soap and towel facility. window glass of the train in most of the compartment does not close and cold wind keep coming in the train. TC in the train should be very strict that they don't allow any other passengers without confirmed ticket and don't take any bribe from passengers. this whole system is worst and bad and create very bad impression on Indian railway system and there employees.

Dear Sir,
I borded Train No.12211 Garib Rath on 2nd March 2012 from Gorakhpur to Anand Vihar and I would like to bring your kind attention towards the Missmangement of Coaches and non availibility of basic aminities e.g Toilet locks are out of order, water was not available, and liquid soap is not available.
Further coach is very dirty and too poor to explain.

Please take corrective measures as soon as possible.

I have face some problem in Dornakal rail way station . i am going with my family.dornakal to nagapattinam( tamil nadu ) in dornakal . there is no coach gideance & even if call to this number 08719227750 ..not lifting phone .no person in rail way station in dornakal 2 tel a right time r late enquiry .. after train comes dkl . coach S7 door is lock .& we r asking plz.. open door . no one opening door .we went S5 . Therefor you please kindley inform railway GM r DRM to avoid that problem very immedietly.

dornakal is a very very bad serves... Wat going on in dornakal...?

Dear Sir,

This is to draw your kind attention on our POOR RAILWAY MANAGEMENT on the subject of RESERVATION TICKET.

It has been observed that if person is holding the reservation ticket but was traveling like animal as other passengers like waitlisted ticket and pass holder are traveling into reserved coach and occupying the space as well as sometime seat also so what is the actual definition of RESERVATION which makes me more confused to understand.

For your information II nd class bogy 72 seater are allowed but waitlisted passengers i.e. 20% to 30% are traveling which effect the other passengers by way of luggage and space and also toilet water consumability. Against such nuisance railway authority is not taking drastic action.

Passenger who booked the ticket in reservation coach by paying the legal charges has no meaning in traveling in ocward situation which they are not suppose too.

Kindly look into such matter and give justice to the RESERVATION word..
