[Resolved] INTERFACE FOUNDATION — 420 CASE, CHEATING, FRAUD | |||
On 17/07/08 I received a mail from Mr. V.J.Rao, Secretary, Interface Foundation regarding projects writing and sanctioning from various Govt./ Non Govt. org. He had given grantee of clearance 3 projects out of 10 with money back. i have deposited Rs. 10,000.00 in the INDUSIND BANK, ACCOUNT NAME: INTERFACE, BHUBANESWAR, ACCOUNT NUMBER:[protected], Account type: Current Account - Online. After few months he came up with a proposal with followup fees of Rs. 10,000.00 for our computer projects with a promise to take proper care for our payment with money back grantee. We have done our payments in same A/c. After few month with a proposal to deposit Rs.10,000.00 to clear one of our requested grant with a deadline to pick it up. i was blindly convinced with his proposal and deposited the same to the same A/c. We are running a residential school for poor tribal people. I asked him if something can be done for them. He took that opportunity and came up with a proposal "Integrated Residential Education Complex for Tribal Children" for submission to the NICCO Corporation Ltd under 80-G donations falling within the purview of their Corporate Social Responsibility. Again with 100% money back gurantee for an amount of Rs. 20,000.00. Simple I belived on him and deposited the amount in that A/c. Regularly I have talked with him. He promised to clear all by 31 Mar 10. After 31 March he is not picking up his phone and not replying any mail. he has cheated with a false promise. The ACHA Star Award for Peace and Harmony is meant to recognize individuals and organizations, which have made significant contribution to peace in South Asia, and/or harmony among South Asians. This year the award was granted to five individuals from the countries of India, Pakistan and South Africa. In India, the award was granted to Yernagular.V. J. Rao and Shabnam Hashmi. Rao from Bhubaneswar, Orissa, is the Secretary of the Interface Foundation and was nominated for organizing communal dialogue in sensitive areas of India, especially following the murder of the Christian missionary Graham Stains, and the Godhra tragedy. Hashmi, founder of Anhad, and a community organizer from New Delhi was nominated for years of her work against communalism and the politics of hate in India. In her acceptance speech, she wrote that as a child she was deeply influenced by the stories of Anne Frank and Zoya, and realized that injustice anywhere was wrong.
i think he is not eligible for any award. He should be in jail.

No grassroot ngos should fall in his grip. He is not providing any consultancy services.

Good Evening Sir. I had apolised for my remarks on internet vide my last mail on 19 Oct 10. I am really very very sorry for that incident. I know unknowingly I have done a great mistake. Perhaps it will take a long time to reconstruct. Very very sorry for that.
In that mail I have written some thing regarding the sustaining of field level intelligence, Mid-day meal, FCRA field investigation report etc, etc. And the same were quoted in a blog, participant named paranjape. In steed of spraying mud on each other I urged your some valuable times to clear all misunderstandings. I am at Vizag only and within few hours I will be able to come to your place.
I know you are a highly educated and experienced person. Please try to understand my pressure and conditions at which I have done my mistakes. I am really very very sorry.

This is the ultimate stand of the person who posted ugly and uncalled for information about INTERFACE FOUNDATION. Please go through the apology tendered by the content poster Mr.Supriya Rakshit and guess what could have been the reason behind his posting such nasty articles. Perhaps, he must not be knowing that parting with sensitive personal information of somebody like bank acccount number etc., would violate the IT act and attact penal action. Any way, since he tendered unconditional apology, I would like to leave the issue with a warning not to attempt this sort of derogatory remarks on any body without applying mind.

Dear INTERFACE FOUNDATION,We purchased your Compendium of Funding Schemes for Voluntary Sector-2009 and since then we used to get your Quarterly news bulletin "DEVELOPMENT DIGEST", regularly until November,2010. Since then we have not received any such Digest from your end.
Kindly confirm whether you have stopped publishing the Development Digest or do you insist on any charges for getting it regularly.
