On 19 th april my parents Dr. C.M. Mathews had complained to the LG service centre that the fridge. GRE362FRD was not working.A service man named Biju [protected] visited and diagnosed the complaint as a compressor problem. Took a recipt for Rs 100/ and said when the compressor comes he will repair it. Three weeks have passed and when I made a call to the toll free number (complaint no:S8C[protected] they said that the complaint was looked into and addressed!! I replied that the fridge still hasn't been repaired and repeated calls to BIJU received the answer that the compressor hasn't arrived yet. Any way two days back we got it repaired locally for the same price as quoted by the serviceman but with one year warranty.
I was the one instrumental in getting my parents to buy an LG refridgerator as their after sale service was good. Is this how one deals with customers? Anyway LG has lost a customer for good and definitely this experience will be passed onto others. Was this information helpful? |
