The experience which I had with the service of my washing machine, has been so horrendous that it has forced me to do start a campaign the nature of which I am not comfortable myself.

I Dr Pramod Kumar, consultant with Hindalco Hospital of the Aditya birla group, had bought a fully automatic washing machine two years back from the local authorised dealer Ms RAJA RAM VINOD KUMAR in Renukoot.The machine was running fine, but just in case as both me and wife are busy consultants, we requested for a routine service as the clothes too were not getting cleaned properly. The engineer came home and checked and concluded every thing was fine a routine check up would fine tune the whole system.
The machine was deposited with the service centre in October 07. It has been a saga of sheer negligence, utterly callous attitude of the service centre, and that too with some one they know very well, (renukoot is not a big town). I shudder to think what would happen to lesser mortals and not to my surprise I found many other sufferers too, but then they thought fighting would further jeopardise their chances of getting the machines repaired, and sending the machine to varanasi was a costly proposition.

I was informed after three months despite repeated reminder that the machine has been checked and found OK and will be sent to my residence when ever a suitable transport is arranged. the after few weeks, I was told that the system has been checked, and needs to be reviewed by the senior company engineer. A few more weeks passed and then I was told that every thing is fine. And then the shocker few weeks back.The PC of the system has conked and that was found after the servicing engineer had taken the machine to his house and observed that the machine actually stopped MID WAY . This was never the problem when the machine was sent for repairs. And 9 months, I am told that I will have to pay 4000 Rs for the new kit and then it would be repaired.
i tolerated even that, as my old mom was finding it difficult to keep with the job at home.But it has been two months, now and the kit which has been urgently indented, has not arrived. Finally I have brought the old machine back, and use it as a water tank, and the local washer man, rinses clothes in it. I believe the service centre has replaced my equipment and given a defective one and trying to cheat me into paying for the repairs.

I have already spoken on the issue on in the weekly meeting of the Rotary club(being the current secretary and a MPHF) and moved a resolution asking all members to abstain from LG products. The GM purchase has stalled all enquiries for LG products and my brother who heads the electrical department of Hindalco, has already instructed the his staff to stop all LG products usage. the local IMA branch, where also I am the secretary, the matter was highlighted and the issue of ill treatment to doctors, who are one of the staunchest supporters of this brand was discussed. I have already requested the local dealer that he should give a rented space in front of his show room where I will display this unique machinery, and if he disagrees he will be getting no help in the next mela which he organises.

Lest you believe I am a disgruntled customers. Remember the profession that I come from. And just for records I own two LGACs, microwave, mobile handsets, TV- LCD,

NEXT SHOWROOM/LG WASHING MACHINE — 8 DAYS still purchase , nobody came to install machine or for a demo

Dear Sir/Madam,
I purchased a LG WAshing machine from Next Showroom, Marathalli, bangalore dated Feb 01, 2009, bill number 0065564 and bill number clearly shows my contact detail. Till now nobody has come for a demo/insatlling machine which was promised to me. I called showroom people n number of times. And number of times they use to disconnect the call and behave rudely. I called LG customer service and they told they recieve the request on Friday on FEB 6 2009 with wrong contact details. I told them to correct the contact detail and send your reprentative and they told it will take 3 working days. Even thought I purchased washing machine on FEB 01. Showroom people are so rude and most of the times they didnt pick up the call.
Would you please help me out in this regard.

lg/top loading fully atomatic washing machine — service center

there was some spinning problem some noise was coming . I loged a complain at lg service center and my complaint no is N9C20504495 they told me engineer will contact me within two hrs. but continuously comlaining for 3to4 days he contacted me and came . he told me that balance problem is there and u have to pay around Rs4900i told him this is to much then he told me that I persaonally can do it for u for Rs 3200. I was shocked and I tried to contact their officer in service center and told the same, engineer told I never said this to mam.

LG Front load fully Auoto Wash Machine — Poor quality of LG Wash Machine. No response even after mails and reminders

Major collapse of LG Wash Machine – Just after 3 ½ years.

I am shocked to know a major collapse of my Wash Machine- Tub seems to be collapsed due to rust problem, as examined and reported by LG technician, Trivandrum.

This is further to my series of complaints regarding poor quality of your material which had to be replaced twice within this short span of 3 years. Then the metallic spring around front rubber washer was damaged due to rusting. Really shocking for such an expensive, so called " world class" premium product from LG- Front loading Fully automatic Wash machine, purchased on 06.01.2006.

As the WM tub seemed to be collapsed and stuck, I complained to LG services, Trivandrum. Subsequently technician examined the trouble and reported tub problem, which is due to rusting of internal parts. Estimated cost of repair is said to be Rs.2300/-

I am terribly shocked to hear such a problem for WM just after 3 1/2 years. I been using my semi auto WM ( W.Pool) for nearly 20 years that too without any major trouble except few servicing, My neighborhood Botch Wash ( Front load Fully Auto) Machine also working for last 15 years without much trouble. I requested to rectify the complaint free of cost as the trouble is due to poor material quality of LG.
Despite my phone calls, e-mails, and reminders issue is yet to be redressed.
So, request you to consider these facts and arrange to rectify the WM at your cost without penalizing me. Eagerly waiting for your kind reply on the matter at the earliest.

I purchased a LG Washing machine from Next Showroom form cumber mumbai . I purchased machine on 15/10/2009 Still now nobody has come for a demo/insatlling machine which was promised to me. Given old washing machine

I bought IFB digital washing machine 6 kg fully automatic front loaded for 26, 600 before diwali from next showroom in M.G.Road, Pune.The delivery of the washing machine was given so late and the delivered piece was not new one i mean which was kept for the display in the show room the packing was also not there and the washing machine is full of dust and it doesn't look like new one so we send back and asked to send new one for us.He send another machine it took more than 1 week for installation after that we washed 2 times and when we kept the clothes for third time it show the error E-04 and we complaint to service person the person came and checked and said that inside wires and cutted if the washing machine is directly from IFB company the wires will not be fitted like that better to go near dealer and ask him to replace .we want to cancel the machine.The dealer is not responding properley.
I have got almost all house appliances of LG product. Initially my washing machine was giving good service.It is fully automatic and top loading . Now its relays are not working properly particularly even for 1/2 kg of cloths it is requiring tub full of water. During warranty period service station mechanics have attended twice.Now it is running 1and 1/2 year from the date of purchase. Now service station is not responding properly even though we are ready to pay the cost of service.

lg intello automatic washing machine getting water continuesly due to automatic getting
I, Dr. Karnav Desai from Ahmedabad, is haveing LG Top loaded washing machine. I have purchased it in the month of March 2010. The Machine is not working properly after one month of my purchase. When ever I start the machine, after few minutes machine stops with UE error. I called engineer sevral times. But the complaint remains as it is. No enigineers of Ahmedabad service centre are ready to seat for whole cycle. As I register a complaint by helpline no. so every time they send engineer. but no one can solve my complaint against washing machine.
hii, i have purchased my lg washing machine of 7 kg fully automatic top load .the problem is that when i start machine it works for 2 min and than its stop working with the pe error, it is in warranty of two years, i have given a complaint 5 times at customer care, my complain id is p10p1126269, but now also i m waiting for them since 10 days, i amm fedup with the product of lg . at the time of sales all the showroom exucitive recemmond us to buy lg, but this time i did a mistake . plz who r reading this plz don't buy lg product . its full of complaint

L.G washing machine — Washing

My Name is Sanjay Ghatwal, a regular customer of LG, household products. I have TV, Washing machine, refrigerator and A.C of L.G make, and these items have been purchased on 23/5/2007. I am sorry to say that the Refrigerator and washing machine body has been rusted within very short time even after proper usage and maintenance.

Recently I had lodged a complaint regarding washing m/c – complaint – body of w m/c has been separated from the foundation due to rust. Please note that except joint portion there is no issue with m/c.

Technician from Panaji service centre had visited to my place and after inspection he had advised us to replace the body at our cost. It is surprising that the machine is just 4 yrs old and well maintained still the body has been rusted. It looks like the quality of sheet used is of low grade.

Although the machine is out of warranty but well maintained and damages have turn out within short time requesting you to replace the body at your cost.

i purchese ur product is fully auto washing machin turbo tub its wash speed is veary low so my cloths is not clean because i wana return this product. i dont like it.
Ur technician came to my place but did not do anything. Your branch head Mr. Joseph written a mail that I will have to pay towards repair cost. I am not intrested in repairing the machine at my cost as the damages have been taken place during very short span of time from the date of purchase. Looking at the damages it it is very clear that the product supplied to me is of inferior quality.
we recently purchased LG washing machine (7.5kg) from MALAIKA APPLIANCES (Dahisar). we are not at all satisfied with the way they delivered the product. the product was delivered open, with no carton box. the product was delivered by a staff of them who brought the washing machine in auto-rikshaw, and brought the product by carrying it over the head (it was open). we were astonished to see this horrible scene. delivering the product with no cover and in a non-safety way, is against the rule. so we request you to look forward and take some action.
The worst service provided ever by any service provider is LG. They just dont care for their customers. I complained about a defect in my Lg washing machine.. They took 5 days to look into the complaint and get back to us. they sent an engineer after we calling them a 10 times. The engineer came, took our machine, did nothing and returned it back to us after spoiling it more. I suggest anyone looking for a washing machine never to buy LG products.
