[Resolved]  Luminous — INVERTER NOT WORKING

I Made a complain against my Luminous Inverter but when the the service person came to my home telling , it cant be resolved now because we are not having the parts with us and we cant tell how many days it will take , i want to know then what is meant by warranty please let me know my Mobile no is [protected], i am suffering a lot kindly resolve my problem .

Luminous — fraud by distributers/ battery is not working

ditributer sold old battery, by mention wrong mgf. code on warranty card with his hand writing after cutting printed code while delivered battery of anotherthird code on dated 20-01-08, battery is not giving back up afert 20 days charging, and gave cash memo of back dated[protected], not responding on my complaintssice last 6 months, he gave warrety card and cash memo after many request, even enginier has told him to give new battery but no response i have enrolled a complaint on h.o with complaint no. DL5066 dated 12-01-08, he also mis behaved with me .

Luminous — Ignorance of complaint

sorry to inform that, the service given by the luminous and thier dealers are very disapointing.As i took an AMC of my luminious inverter form the dealer, who promised that we are only 1 call away from any problem with your inverter.It is also said that after every 2 month a boy will come to check the staus of your inverter.
however, picture is far defferent from this.every time i have to invite them to check, and all of a sudden my inverter gone faulty means not working, i am keep calling them but they r saying the companys guy will come check that.its ok but but yesterday company guy came .he didnt check anything he just changed the fuse however the plug and the socket of the inverter got burnt he didnt see that, made it direct and went away.Again after some time it stoped working.
I called the dealer, he promised that, this time they will send a guy but no one has come till now, even now they are picking up the phone.
Its really disappointing, i think there should be govt.rule to stop these kind of people who cheat the people and take our hard earned money without giving good service.
I m not sure, what would happen as i m lodging complaint over here.but hoipng something wud be done.
I have Luminuous Inverter (UPS-LB) 600 VA Reg. No.B3DL3L[protected] purchased in May 2008. My inverter is not working and for this I had lodged a complaint on 15/4/09 vide complaint No.257600. Till today i.e. on 22/4/09 no one has come come to attend to the defect in inverter.
We complained on 22.4.2009; again complained on 25th; reminded today. I know what to expect now. No wonder they have been 2nd best. No 3 and 4 must have gone past without their knowing. Wake up luminous

i was purchease one luminos inverter but it was not working properly, i was given complainto luminos inverter his service boy not given me proper service, at that time he told me ur problem with bettery but it was totally wrong, thing is that now my inverter is not working, plzs tell me what can i do,

very sorry to say but it is true that a mulitnational company's manufactured the products in a sole maneer that no complain should be come, i am aslo in a mulinational company based in USA.
and always tried to help if any thing goes wrong . Sir, I have purchased a invertor on 4.4.2009 vide bill no 3909 From Shakti & shakti Enterprises, chandni chowk, Patiala (Punjab ) phone no.2211307, 5008583 and from next day the invertor is not working propely, i have personaly visited to the dealer too many times, but the matter is still pending, company spent lot of money on advertise but some time they are not aware about that what is happening to the customers,

Sir, No doubt your product is good, but thru this i want to draw your kind attention towards the problem
we are facing, pl depute some one and replace the same in order to retain good faith in your self.

Luminous — Inverter not getting charged

Invertor is not getting charged.
I guess, either your plug point faulty or some small wire inside your inverter must have got disconnected. Well I am no technical guru, so I would suggest you to contact the technical team of Luminous to get help. I hope I could be helpful to you.

I have purchase the invertor on Dt 19.05.2011. Yesterday again we have complaint on customer service my complaint no is 24636. Before this we have also complaint several times but upto till this time no action will be taken. I have Two inverters both are not working. I want that please send ur representative for the necessary action immediately. Because in the home two patient without the inverter the are in to much trouble. Please try to unders tand our problem and send your engineer immediately so that they will resolve our problem.

LUMINOUS INVERTER — False Commitment

I purchased one Luminuos battery in the month of Aug' 2010 thru their Dealer Grewal Electronic Point with the warrantee of 24 months ( model LET -180)
FALSE COMMITMENT;.Now after 22 months they are refusing to entartain as the warrantee is 18months .
POOR RECORD MAINTAINENCE : Though their product bear the serial no and barcoding stil they cannot track the small but important first level information like which product or serial no from their warehouse has been sold to which dealer , clearly indicate their stock maitainence and movement.
Without customer purchase bill they will not entertain the complaint clearly reflects the customer support.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE: do not have any escalation process if the complaint is not addressed properly. Their personnel refrain attending the calls and if luckily attended their reply is we have other jobs also, cudnot understand what is more important than addressing a client who is following for 5 days.
HIDING FACTS; The product or system knowledge their engineers is below standards .They do not even give the customer copy of their visit report thru which they register the complaint and their findings which a customer signs.

Feedback: Thru this i would suggest ,PLZ DO NOT TRUST LUMINOUS PRODUCTS BETTER PREFFER LOCAL MADE OR OTHER BRANDS AVAILABLE. i WUD GIVE 2 OUT OF 10 TO THEIR AFTER SALES SUPPORT.
I am an user of Luminous inverter. I trusted the company and start using the inverter. but irony is that they

have provided a bad product.
My inverter's battery is not charging properly. It gives a backup for half an hour only. After half an our

inverter stops working. The full day electricity is ok but still its not charged properly.
I logged a complaint for which the complaint number is : IN[protected]. Person name was Naresh

kumar([protected]).
The executive(Naresh) came and said we will test it that whether it can be repaired or not, till the time you

can have our separate battery at a cost of 300 Rs. After two days we will give your repaired battery back. So

we gave 300 Rs for it and the next day the person is expected to come to provide additional battery and take

away the faulted one. Naresh collected the money in advance.
But on another day the whole day gone just like that and no one came to replace the battery. I called up

Naresh, he said he had logged the request for battery in GUrgaon head office. Then from customer care we got

the detail of Narendar([protected]) who is service incharge in Gurgaon. I called up him, he said battery will

reach in 1 hour. I wait for 2 hour then called him again, now he was not picking up the phone. I again called

customer care and gave the feedback. This time they gave me delhi ncr head Ravinder's number([protected]). I

called him, he said battery will reach in 1 hour again. I waited, then also no once came. I called Narendar

again, he said take the number of store from where battery will be sent and ask the status.
This time i am very frustrated, but what can i do if i born in India where 100% companies are fraud and in

terms of services they are just big zero.
This time i called ([protected]) the place from where battery need to be sent, that person told me that today

we can't send the battery. We will sent it tomorrow.


Lots of wrong promises, lots of wrong commitment, and still the service is very poor. I am sure they wont

return my battery in 2 days after repair. I believe i have invested money in wrong place. Luminous is zero in

term on services. They just make fool by selling such bad products. Where the battery should be replaced with

new one, they are just making me fool by taking battery for few days, showing that they will repair it,

charing 3oo for no cause. If they would have replace the new battery, then they wont be able to take extra

money from me. Also ultimately i am realy not sure whether the battery will be ok after repair or not, or for

how long will it work. Please help to get my battery replaced with the new one.

Realy upset from the services, and suffering a lot due to that. Waiting for someone's help, who could help me

to get the justice from these theves.

DO NOT BUY LUMINOUS PRODUCTS (if you are planning to)

Reference: Order # 4416 (Luminous Eco Watt 1650 Home UPS) purchased 9 days back.

My experience:

I have not received any email intimation on delivery status from the team in 9 days from purchase. Had to call last Saturday 8th Apr to contact center and then they gave me this number [protected] (Pradeep). Called Mr. Pradeep and he gave me one more number [protected] (Gopal). Called Gopal and he informed me that he does not have any information regarding this order. While he committed me for a call back which I didn't receive till yesterday.

So I called Pradeep and Gopal multiple times yesterday (and I can share my call details with anyone with an authority in your organization) with no response. Finally I had to dial in this number [protected] which is your helpline number. Now the gentleman who received my call again gave a new number [protected] (Jaydeep Das) who is supposed to be Sales contact person from Silchar (where the product is supposed to be delivered). Interesting fact is - Jaydeep is no longer with Luminous and you might want to update your database if you not aware of this change already.

Mr. Jaydeep was kind enough to give me one more number of Guwahati Sales contact [protected] (Manoj Sharma). Well I did call him and he bluntly said that he has not received any information and routed me back to call Eshop contact center. Well I circled back to Pradeep and finally he received my call and put me on hold to connect with Gopal. Which eventually didn't happen and he dropped the call and never called back. I did write in your customer complaint website & as expected no acknowledgement email or any call from you.

My mistake o not checking the reviews for Luminous...
