Dear Maruti Alto Team,
I had bought a Alto car recently from SKY Automobiles at Bhubaneswar on 30-July-2010, however there several issues already mentioned immediate after the car is delivered and these are yet to be rectified. Please find the details below.
1. The Alto delivered to me with digital tacometer showing 219 KM being already ran.
2. There is a ‘tin-tin’ sound coming out of rear diki as-if it is loosely closed even though it is properly closed. It looks like the rear hydraulic cylinders at two sides are actually creating these noise / sound as it were loosely connected to the body. Please check and fix – this is a must item to fix as I had already mentioned the day I bought it and the same also it was not fixed though some picked up my car and claimed it is fixed.
3. While AC is switched-on and the vehicle is crossing 35-40 at gear 3 or 45-60 at gear 4 or so on, a reverse thrust us (with a ‘tik’ sound) is pushing the car – as a result of it the car is not going beyond 60 KM per hour (maximum).
4. The reverse gear is most of the times not working even also the clutch is fully pressed to its maximum.
5. It seems the gear box is loosely coupled with the front engine - while your hand is on gear and the accelerator is pushed a little more, you will feel like the gear is pulled to front.
