[Resolved] Maruti Swift Dzire Ldi — engine failure
I have purchased a maruti swift dzire LDI on 24 oct 2009 and by 26 jan 2010, it has just completed 4500 km. i.e., before the second free service, on my trip to my native place, the vehicle suddenly stopped with an engine failure. after contacting the local maruti dealer (Sarathy trivandrum), they have toed the vehicle to their work shop. on enquiry, the local delaer's service engineer has informed that he was not able to locate the reason for the failure for the first one week. Later, it was informed that the engine shaft has some complaint and needs replacement. Till today, they havent returned the same even in the warranty period. On each enquiry, I was able to get a new person on line and they are still not able to say when the vehicle could be returned. I fear that the vehicle has some serious complaints which could not be handled by the local dealer's men after 14 days considering the ensuing holidays.(today is 6th feb 2010). I would like to request the company to replace the vehicle immediaely as i am loosing the facilities for the last 14 days even after i have paid a good sum for it. Others who wait for the vehicle please note this type of attitude from Maruti. Manilal [protected] Was this information helpful?
