The customer care representative SEKAR who attended my call in my office in Sarjapura road in Bangalore, installed another program and informed the problem is solved. but at the same time the speed when checked at 11:50am(5JAN2009) was around 1.13mbps. For this the reply by the customer care representative is " Sir, this is the average speed what you could get and will be between 300kbps to 3.1mbps, and it we cannot assure 2 to 3 mbps all the time".
For my question of what is high speed internet mean...he does not have a answer and immediately made me connect to the chennai customer care centre, and the lady who spoke to me wants to know what to do, other than providing me the solution.
The connectivity is not improved during the day, and most of the time they inform me the coverage may not be there.
I intend to take this issue to the legal channel and determine what is high speed internet according to tata indicom, and what are the coverage areas; as they claim over the TV ads and their customer care offices of the excellent speed and after the connection is procured the same is not available.
I request the authorities to take up this issue and avoid the citizen of this country to be made mockery of, by the very own indian telecom establishment by TATA.
I have invested 2750INR for the modem and which is not refundable; and with the poor connectivity, i need to know why have i been charged so high for irregularities in high speed internet.
Can i call this cheating or Fraud or irregularities in service or New way of money making by TATA.
