[Resolved] Mast Kalandar — Poor service | |
Today I ordered food from Mast Kalandar in Sarjapur Road and got the worst experience of my life. I had invited somebody for dinner and I placed an order at around 7:50 PM and I was told it will take 40 minutes for the food to be delivered. After 1 hour passed by, I called up again to enquire what was the reason of the delay. I was told the delivery guy has left already and will be there in 5 minutes. For 30 minutes after that there was no sign of food. I called up again and this time I was kept on hold for 5 mintes without any response. I was so embarrased in front of my guest, I finally called them up and asked them to cancel the order. The manager there told me that food will reach in 15 mintes, despite of the delay of 1:30 hours. I asked them the reason and came to know it was delivered to some other location. I had clearly given the address with each alphabet spelt out, still the order could not be delivered in the right place. While placing the order I had provided the phone number, if they cannot call on the given phone if there is some confusion, why do they take the order. I was surprised by the attitude of the manager (Kamal), he never apologized also. He was ok with loosing the buisiness and simply said ok madam. I was so embarassed in front of the guest, we had to finally manage by having options at home. I want people to know the sorry state of Mast Kalandar. It used to be one of the best veg eating joints with a very courteos staff. Ever since it has picked up and the franchisees are given away to anyone, I can see the deteoration of the quality and service of food. Was this information helpful? | |
