[Resolved]  MOBILE BILL — Airtel charging for services cancelled

My daughter had cancelled her post paid connection wef 1st September 2012 on Mobile No.[protected]. She had written a letter to this effect and
thought that the post paid billing service has been cancelled.

After about 6 months Bharti Airtel is calling up stating that bill of Rs.2,350/- has to be paid from September 2012 till Jan 2013. How can we pay when there were no calls made from the above mobile of there were no services provided by Airtel.

Now there are harassment phones from one of their associates stating that case has been filed and money has to be paid and all sorts of threatening calls are coming.

Please inform as to what can be done.
