MTNL Broadband — very poor service and speed

Hey guys, even i am facing the same issue. At first it worked well. The down. speed was good and DTR was decent to 200kbps but now its drastically reduced to snail speed. And making lots of complaints, there is no solution. These illeterate fools and don't even know what's broadband and why people require speed. All these bloody govt. officials they never work and they don't want to take any action at all. You guys have any idea of what can be done as i am pissed of with this kind of service. They are [censored]ing as. Guys any idea of escalating this matter, plz share it.

mere pass 599 ka combo unlimited plan hai meri downloading speed 30 kbps honi chaiye jo ab sirf 10-13 kbps hai

As I logged the complaint regarding broadband speed is too low, the complaint no. was (6432) Which is not resolved and i did not received any call from the MTNL.When I confirm with MTNL Customer care the call was closed.Please look into this matter otherwise I have to esclate this matter to the Higher authorities.

I am fully agree with you my friend. They people dont care about customer problem. They think no one can do any bad thing to them. Also the customer care executive are big fools. They dont about about any technical point about about broadband or computer. With this kind of people MTNL going to biggest looser in future.
I am totally agree with all of you . All the complaints are right because I am
facing these problems too. So what I suggest you all is that

"Never use mtnl broadband "

spread these words on all the websites and all over the internet.
This is the only way to teach them come to the line.

I have 1000/- unlimited plan of MTNL broadband. Initally it was working fine. Now it has stagnated. The speed is not good. It takes 1 min or more to open up a page and now it is not working for 2 days. I have tried to connect to customer care but with no help because no one is responding the customer care calls.
Also, earlier once when it did connect to the customer care. The male executive was not helping instead he was discussing his personal talks with the people I could hear in the background and I was kept waited for 30 mins.
MTNL service is becoming bad to worse.
my name is mehtaab shaikh my tel no is [protected] my net speed is gone very low upto 22 kbps my net plan is tirb unlimited 256 first i was getting a very good speed but now is very low i have given complains many times but there is still no response
I have an MTNL[protected] broadband connection with Tri Band Combo Unlimited Tariff plan.I am getting a very slow speed of only 30~34 kbps while other people with same tariff plan are getting 240~254 kbps.I have compliant the MTNL officials but they dont response.
My Mumbai MTNL nos is 26797350.
My tel bills were coming from 1st of every month at 2 month intervals.
My Broadband was started on 25Oct for Rs.199 with 500MB download.
So they raised bill from 25Oct till 30Oct09
So they charged Rs.33 for Rentals and charged a hefty Rs.282 in usage charges.
I asked them to take full monthly rental of Rs199 for 5days - even then it falls cheaper
Till 8Nov09 my usage was only 400MB.
They keep saying that it is a policy decision. Nobody can do anything about it.
Is there any email or officer to whom we can complain?

I know it is useless ... but can anyone help me?
mtnl has eaten up all the money i had given up as deposit. the lineman disconnected my services and i got a bill of 1100 thaT month when my phone was dead for 20 days. my billing trend was arond 500 for all the months before july 2009 when this happened.
latest I have got plan of 1MBPS..speed should be 130kb..but getting 80kb should is worth to pay Rs 2100 per month.
I have a problem in line also but botbody bothers..
