My MTS USB Dongle stopped working around 2nd Dec,2011.Thereafter my system or any other system was not able to recognize (detect) the device.It was a confirmed Device fault of which i first complained on around 6th Dec,2011.The Customer Care person registered my complaint and he assured me for device replacement in 2 working days.
No call or response for replacement was made from their side.Then i again contacted Customer Care and he reconfirmed my complained and assured me for Device replacement on next working day.
Again no action was taken.
From 6th Dec,2011 to 19th Dec,2011 i called Customer Care 5-6 times and each time they gave me false assurance,no effort in any way was taken from their side to solve my problem.
Fed up with their service and negligence to my several lodge complaints,on 20th Dec,2011 i called Customer Care and asked them to DEACTIVATE my MTS connection. The Customer Care person registered my request for Deactivation and assured of the same.
After that in mid March,2012 i got a call from MTS person reminding me that i have to pay the outstanding bills of months Dec-2011,Jan-2012,Feb-2012.
I told him about my previously lodged complains and informed him that i did not use the Device from 2nd Dec,2011. And i also informed him about DEACTIVATION request that i put on 20th Dec,2011.Thereafter on my asking of my monthly Usage detail,"HE CONFIRMED ME THAT MY DEVICE WAS NOT IN USE AND USAGES WERE 0(ZERO),THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WAS THEIR INTERNAL MISTAKE AND THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF IT AND CORRECT THE BILL".
I thought the billing problem was solved by the company.
But suddenly On 8th Dec,2012 I got an email from Postpaid.[protected]@mtsindia.in Regarding the lok adalat case against me for non payment of bill amounting Rs 3307. And asked me to appear in lok adalat court on 11th dec 2012.
I cant be present in Chennai before 9TH Jan 2013.
Being totally unhappy and frustuated from MTS company services. I hereby post this problem in Consumercourt.in forum platform for resolution of this.
Its an unneeded mental harassment and wastage of my time from MTS company.
