[Resolved]  Nokia 3110c — BSNL GPRS settings

with regards i want to inform you that my mobile whose IMEI no. is 0550573358977010373907 has been lost somewhere at mukherjee nagar.
kindly take legal and action to find my mobile set nokia 3110C.

recently i purchased 3110c mobile, on connecting to my computer with usb cable, it sisplay select mode with a fraction of second it display "DATA CABLE REMOVED", kindly hlep me to solve this problem,

the display is working the time and battery sattus are seen(but fade) and i can't the pictures and all but i can recieve the call

i bought nokia3110c before one month.before one week, while going to menu...options like gallery and...others, the sim card option is not coming... at same time...no messages can be able to send at that time... even i changed my sim card and reinserting the sim card... the same problem happening till now... whay can i do...plz..reply...

Nokia 3110c — Restarting myobile 3 times

While am inserting Memory cared my mobile, after swatching of againg am swtching on also its restarting, using music player aloso my mobile restarting aganin n aganin. after updating software also am facing problem. plz give the permnent solutation for Nokia 3110c Mobile. features like music player or camera or video camera or memory card because I all time feared that my phone is again restart.

This is my humbly request you to please change the set or if possible please give me a another Nokia Set because I am very disatisfied with the Nokia 3110c. Please do the needfurl and oblige.

how can i connect internet through my nokia 3110 c on my computer. when i connect it reads only memory card & it doesn't have any CD of nokia pc suite . please solve my problem.

i am using bsnl sim in mobile 'nokia 3110c, gprs is active in this sim. my problem is : i can connect internet in my pc with this set (by activated bsnl gprs) but i cannot open it in mobile, definitely it is due to some setting problem. please send the reqired setting.

Nokia 3110c — IM not working properly.

I tried to use IM in my nokia 3110c to chat with my yahoo buddies. But the messages send by them are not receiving. The matter i send are properly send and they can read. But if they give a reply it is not displayed. Or data they are sending are not receiving. Please give a proper solution for this.

It is pathetic that the Customer Care support is very poor for obtaining a gprs settings for this model in particular and for any model in general from the bsnl authorities. But there are people in bsnl who do not get exposed. The customer care people are half baked.
Here is the settings and you can set it up manually:

Go to Menu
choose settings
choose connectivity
go to packet data
go to packet data connection
choose - when needed
go to packet data settings
go to Active access point
type "bsnlgprs"
go to Edit active access point
go to Alias for active point
type "bsnlgprs"
go to packet data access point
type "wapsouth.cellone.in" (Other regions replace south with their region)
now come back to settings
go to configuration
go to preferred access point
type "BSNL Internet"
now go to Menu and Choose Web
You will find Personal Configuration in 'Configuration"
and 'bsnlgprs' in Account
Wherever you find Proxy Server, Enable it
Wherever you find Proxy port No: type 9401
Connection is 'IPv4"
now go to Personal ConfigurationSettings and in options click Activicate. Now Enjoy OPERA MINI - MOBICAST Applications
