i have received the same mail on the 19.05.2009 from 0191011 informing me that my number has won 600, 000 pounds in the Nokia awards with the cliam code instructing me to my prize by sending a mail to [protected]@nokia-uk-promo.com. to claim my prize, it this a scam or is it for real

Listen, what the hell. why would someone send out sms like these. How do they benefit. [censored], I really thought I won monies as it look censere. I think that nokia should pay out regardsless or stop this nonsense immediatly.

Exactly the same happened to me.First the 019 number sms.In answer to my mail I had to reply with the claim code and a few irrelevant questions.Nobody can benefit from this - why does "Nokia International" not investigate and bring whoever is responsible to task.I was even redirected to current Nokia web sites.On one of these a very poor statement by Nokia were made - "We are not responsible".I would have expected a lot more from an aclaimed leader in the field of communication.This whole situation is in very poor taste.

The only thing that made me suspicious were the wording in case of direct bank transfers(the small "i' for I and the "i would advice").Poor grammar for such a respectable company!

Come now "Nokia" - stand up to the problem or rather the lack of protection of your poor supporters!
