[Resolved]  Nokia N - 72 — NOT REPAIRING THE PHONE AND GIVING WRONG REASONS

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Sandeep Kumar Shrivastava from Roorkee (Uttarakhand). I am a Nokia – N72 Customer. I had a purchase of this Mobile on 08-July-2008 from Satguru telecome, Civil Lines, Roorkee. On[protected] my mobile screen stopped displaying contents. It was only showing while screen. I walked to NOKIA CARE, ROORKEE. There are two CCO Counters, on first counter there was no executive and on second, there was a person (dealer) with 7-8 phones. I asked to executive how much time I will have to wait, she replied, when dealer’s 7-8 mobiles get scanned. It means I had to wait for near 2 hours because Entry Level Scanning department was taking nearly 20 minutes for a mobile. I came back and walked again on[protected], after waiting One hour, this was my turn, she tooked the mobile and after checking some detail in computer, she told my that this mobile is out of warranty. I shown my bill and told her that I have purchase this mobile on[protected], so it should be in one year warranty period. She refused very rudely and throw my bill a-side and told me that she can not do anything. I did’nt understand what to do. I came back to that shop from where I purchased that mobile. He talked to some person than told me to go back to NOKIA CARE. This time they accepted my mobile and send it to entry level scanning. At entry level scanning counter the engineer told me that there is some moisture/liquid/swat water in-side the mobile so warranty has void. I ever keep my mobile is mobile case and with very care because this mobile is very near to my heart. I explained them that this is not possible because I ever cares this mobile very much. But they refused and behaved very rudely.
I visit nokia website http://www.nokia.co.in from where I got gurgaon nokia office number[protected]. I talked to Ms. Pooja Kashyap and she make my conversation with Mr. Neeraj Gupta, Customer Care Head U.P. via conferencing. Mr. Gupta told me to go back to NOKIA CARE, ROORKEE and let make his conversation with Mr. Kapil in Nokia Care, Roorkee. I went to NOKIA CARE again, Mr. Kapil again scanned my mobile and this time he told me that I have tried to repair this mobile outside the nokia care, he give me proof that one screw is missing and there is some spot on any part ( I forget the name of part ). I again make a call to Mr. Neeraj Gupta this time he was also in full support of Nokia Care and finally they refused to repair my mobile. This time Mr. Kapil told me that he will not repair my mobile on his NOKIA CARE, ROORKEE in any case. He also said to me that I should go to other NOKIA CARE CENTRE.
This is my story about nokia care. Now I have some question –
1. when first time I went to NOKIA CARE why CCO refused to give warranty when I have a bill showing warranty period.
2. Why CCO throw bill a-side, is there no value of nokia customer.
3. How NOKIA CARE agreed to give warranty next time. If this was possible why they did not make it possible first time.
4. When a customer is saying that his mobile had never a contact with liquid, why nokia care is not listening to him. Is every time nokia care is true.
5. Next time How NOKIA CARE is saying that there is a screw missing and I tried to repair mobile outside. A customer cannot be so fullish that if his mobile is in warranty he will try to repair outside.
6. Why Mr. Kapil told me that NOKIA CARE, ROORKEE will not repair my mobile in any case, is NOKIA CARE is his personal property of him or it is a extension of NOKIA.
7. Is this not possible that during first time scanning Entry level scanning engineer forgot that screw that, according to him, is missing.

I am using NOKIA products since last 7 years. I had NOKIA-3300, NOKIA-2100 and now N-72. I never face any problem in my earlier mobiles. First time I face this problem and NOKIA CARE created a story with me. For me NOKIA was not a name, it was a FAITH. But now I am ashamed of me that why I was using NOKIA if NOKIA SERVICE is so poor.

i totally agree to the complain made by sir sudeep.even i faced a similar problem mention by sir sudeep and how the attitude of the people working in nokia care disgust nokia coustumer.im a residence of shillong and i feel that being a small town no one really cares.i brought my cell phone on the 10 of december 2008 from space net shillong.n now im writing this on the 7 august 2009 and my cell nokia 7210 supernova series is of no use but just to be donated to the corupted nokia care shillong..all thanks to them.well it so happen that i entered nokia care sumwer in the month of may as muy cell wont display anything.somehow after a patient wait of 1 an a half hour i finally got to register my problem with a staff.she told me it was a software problem and so trusting her i gave my cell.i got back the next day.i was glad at their service..but on reaching home i realise in the camera settings there was no option for camera sound!!and the t9 on my create message was missing.but that did not bother me much..i was happy my phone was working.then not even a month my phone faced the same problem.it switches off by itself and on switching on it display a white screen.so on the 28 july 2009 i went to fixed my cell again.as usual i had to wait for an hour or two and this time it was because one of the staff was absent fom duty.as i had expected it was a software problem again.i had to come afer an hour to get back my cell.when i got it i asked the staff bout the software and she told me she had updated it with asofware v4.68.i told her bout the camera sound and the t9 in the create message..she told me to wait for another 15 mins wile she update the software version of v6 or sumthing.afer waiting for 45 mins i finally got it just the way it was given to her.she told me she has updated the phone wit v6 software, but on checking it using the *#0000#i found out the softwre is v5.6.she lied to me.and not even a month after giving it to nokia care, im left with a cell wich doesnt display anything.today the 7, .august 2009 i took the cell to nokia care shillong, only to be disapointed...as my cell cant be fixed again..thats what the staff told me.i have just lost my faith in nokia..i dont think so il ever use a nokia phone again nor il recommend it to any one.

Nokia care Roorkee seems to be very bad customer care center. I went there for replacing my nokia n-85 battery but they give me wrong reasons and not replacing my battery. My battery backup is very poor, even it not work for 15-16 hours.
I have purchased my Nokia N-85 on 31/03/09 and i went to the Nokia care namely KAPIL ENTERPRISES, ROORKEE, Shop N. F 1&3 22 Civil Line, Roorkee Takage Roorkee, (UTTRAKHAND) Pin Code: 247 667.
They told me that your warranty period was over. According to my phone bill my warranty is valid upto 31/03/10 and for battery 31/09/09. But Mr. Kapil says that according to Nokia website my warranty over on 17/01/09.
I think that warranty period is start from the date of purchasing the phone and which is on the bill. But they gave me such odd reasons that my warranty is over.
Overall Nokia Care in roorkee giving not proper responce for peoples. I saw a huge amount of people sitting there and waiting for their chance for chacking their mobiles.
please suggest what to do?

Nokia N - 72 — Important function never performed since purchase on 05.07.2009

I had purchased one Nokia N-72 (having gold lining frame) vide retail invoice no.1528 for Rs.7649 (Seven thousands six hundreds forty nine only) having IMEI NO.[protected], battery sn.[protected], charger s/n[protected], memory card s/n 0632643.2.1 512 MB MMC.

2. MY this N-72 cell installed with BSNL mobile no.[protected] has also been possessing GPRS connection through which I could never open my email account on aforesaid N-72 mobile ,which as per M/S Prime Associates (seller) is capable to support NET operations but BSNL fuctionaries told that this N-72 set does not possess the support system for operating internet Besides its battery even after charging in full does not last even for one day which is contrary to the assurance commanded by NOKIA make. It also right from the beginning starts very slowly hangs for long and shows memory full even by storing datas far below its capacity most of the time thereby creating hindrances in communication.
3. Since its purchase to till date for correction of defects I approached M/S Prime Associates many times but nothing was done to correct my mobile except kept me assured till 31.07.2009 that it will be done ,and after july 2009 , surprisingly I was advised that I should purchase some other mobile set by disposing this set.
4. This kind of behaviour by NOKIA dealer has belied and shattered my faith which NOKIA has been commanding prior to this episode as per my belief.I request you to do the needful rectification / replacement suitably immediately.

Nokia /N 72 — N 72 is DEAD

Hi,
This is mohit jain and a very old user of Nokia phones.I never in my life have tried any phone other than Nokia.The really respected the Brand until my N72 new handset got screwed up.

My handset does not get switched on around November 2009 and i gave it to Nokia care.The cell got repaired and they charged me around 750 bucks which i happily paid.I have been told that there was some Moisture problem and Hence the problem.

I was happy that atleast the cell is again in working condition.I then protected the cell than from moisture,heat,sunlight :) or blah blah they say might cause the problem.

After 2-3 month again my mobile started showing some problems and i gain have to submit it to the nokia care.The nokia care people this time told that there is some software update required and asked me to pay 350 bucks,which i did.

My Irritation increased when even after that servicing, the problem does not end .Later i have been told that its a hardware issue and the cell might go dead.
When finally i went it to take after few days to my surprise the cell was DEAD and its now just a piece to be thrown in garbage.I requested the branch manager to make it in aleast working condition and he said they will try and will take 2-3 days.

A week passed and those people dont even bother to call back.When i called them and asked about the status i have been told they will call back.The call did not came and i am really pissed of by there service now.

The Most Trusted brand cannot REPAIR there own CELL and the service and response is so pathetic that at times u feel like breaking your head against the wall.

I might have lost my cell but let me tell NOKIA you have lost my trust upon your brand.

Its not you have lost your one customer,You have LOST 100's who are my close FRIENDS ,You have lost 1000's of my OFFICE colleagues and lAKH's of people with whom i collaborate on Internet.

Nokia — BAD DISPLAY SCREEN IS PLACED IN MY CELL WHILE GIVING THIS FOR REPAIRING

I HAVE NOKIA 2600cc handset. last month i face a problem of handset display is dark then i given my handsets in nokia care they replaced this with new one lcd display they charge Rs 972 for repaier of my handset but again within 16 days i face same problem as it was earlier when i again showed them the problem of my handset the people of nokia care said that i have to pay again for change of lcd display in my handset
