Nyfe Battery Company — Replacement battery not returned | |||
I had purchased a 12v 875 va microtek sine wave home ups with 180 AH battery packup vide invoice number 6644 dated 04.06.2011. The battery did not work. Accordingly the complaint was lodged and your personnel had taken the battery and serviced it . It was returned on 28th April 2012. Subsequently again the battery was taken back by your personnel within 3 days based on the same complaint . Also please note that as per the warranty card of the purchase, it states a free replacement of battery if fault within one year. You are hereby advised to replace with new battery and revised warranty immediately without any further delay. My family is worst affected during the power cuts and it is almost more than 45 days the battery is not returned. The warrant card number is 2428 of Fujiya. Was this information helpful? | |||

i too face the same problem
Before 3 yrs I struggled with NYFE and at last I posted the complaint in sulekha and then I got the fujiya replacement. Also they removed my comment from that. I believe they rely on sulekha for publicity. The replaced fujiya gone bad in another 6 months, and that is an another story.
Finally I moved on to EXIDE and it is working fine for the past 1.5yrs without any trouble.
NYFE pushes Fujiya by highligting the 2 yrs replacement warranty tag. The Fujiya what Nyfe sells are re-fabricated batteries and not new ones. Thatz why they are not able to give replacements. I tried hard to get the Fujiya manufacturer contact but not able to do so. I strongly believe Fujiya is a re-fabricated one by NYFE.
My sincere advice is please go for EXIDE battery. Since it is a branded one, atleast we can have an option to fight or escalate the problems. Inverter is not a funda thing and it rarely goes bad. The main part is the battery.
