Well to start with did you apply for a job at "Petronis Oil"?

Probably not. And if you didn't...no, it's not real.
Hi
1) Like JG says did you apply for a Petronas Position?

2) Remember Petronas is one of the world's most powerful companies and the Malaysian Government does not allow nonsense - so if in fact this is a fraud offer- the guy who is doing this must really have steel b..s. f the Govt fishes him put- he can say goodbye to his sweet life on earth.

3) Petronas does not offer positions to anyone unless they are specially qualified to work in their business segment.

I suggest the best way is to go on to Petronas site- and contact their HR dept by email to confirm if this is true- Usually these companies have a set of recruitment agencies who recruit on behalf of the main entity.

Another way to easily fish out fraud is never to send advance money by Western Union to anyone. Also if you get a Money Order to encash- and asked for money back- DO NOT SEND IN MONEY- UNLESS YOU CONFIRM THAT THE MONEY SENT TO YOU IS ACTUALLY CREDITED INTO YOUR ACCOUNT!!

To be clear on this done send any money to everyone simply because you deposited their check in your account. Banks will routinely credit your account immediately until the check comes back form the issuing country saying ":no funds" Your bank will then rescind the transaction- by which time- you have already in a fit of excitement sent in their part of the "commission".

This happened to a neighbor of mine who at 81 decided to be rich by getting into such schemes. The poor sucker was made to string along for almost a year. First it was money- then it was even more monery based on the next check arriving and then slowly into fake electronic items etc. They finally offered him a live- in beautiful huosesitter!!

Finally at 82- he was totally broke and despondent. Law authorities followed the criminal until New York- (he was from a country that has a lot of such schemes)- This fellow was really decent looking wearing an expensive suit and good personality. When he found out that the cops were on his trail- he managed to escape to his embassy- and that's the last we know of him. Obviously the embassy was not able to help- since we were not sure if the name he gave was the correct one or not.

I hope I have helped. I see such things almost every week- People take advantage of your greed. To give you an idea- most of these fraud schemes are routed through such places that it's like looking for a needle in the proverbial haystack . The number of frauds worldwide through such schemes- is to give you an idea- is equal to the 17th largest economy in the world! If that does say something- people please wake up!

I would also seriously advice all of you- to please kep a benevolent eye on the elders in your families- usually these are the ones that get taken for a ride- and do not reveal anything due to embarassment.

No need to reply to this message- this is part of what I do- and I may not see all sites at the same time.
