[Resolved] Philips DVD 550 FWD — Unattended service | |||
I have a Philips DVD system ,model no.FWD550.Since last two months,it is not reading new DVD's & DVD's are getting jammed after playing for five minutes.I had lodged a complaint with Philips service centre.Complaint no. 0491497 dt. 14.12.2010.Despite their assurance of service within 48 hours,after repeated follow-up,their service technician came & without even arranging for repairs,he said,we need to buy a new system & charged Rs.450.00. My repeated complaints to philips service centre on this has only evoked assurances that a new senior technician would visit & get the repairs done,but till date there is no response,despite my regular follow up.Even their helplines donot connect us to their seniors,always telling that they are busy & will call back. This kind of deficient & poor service by Philips needs to be really corrected & action taken against them.I understand that most of the consumers are suffering due to extremely poor service by Philips.
