[Resolved]  Philips DVD Player — Very very poor response from service station

My philips dvd player and i registered my complaint through phone on 24.06.2011. Very soon the service station respond and agent came to my house. He checked the my dvd player and asked me to bring to his service station, so i immediately next day given my dvd player to his service station where it is so far from my house nearly 15kms. So they asked me for 2 days time to rectify the problem but till now dt:06.07.2011 the is no call from the service station. And i called n number of times to the service station but they are not answering the call. So what we do for this poor irresponsible service station.

Philips DVD Player — Replacement

Dear sir,

I have brought philips DVD player for Big bazar ahmedabad, in the month of may, in the month of june it stopped working, philips customer service centre people have taken the DVD player on july 1st and till now they have not replaced it is near about 2 months and we keep calling them again & again but no positive replies, you can call me on [protected].
DVD Player is not working at all.

Philips DVD Player — no power

I am parveen sharma.I purchase a dvd player (philips, DVP3136) on 21/03/2008 from kumar electronics dharuhera, rewari, haryana.
Now it is creating a problem of NO POWER from last 4 days.

Philips DVD Player — DVD Drive. is not working

DVD Drive Model:DVP 3166X/94 is purchased on mid of Dec 2008 and gone bad in the end of Jan 2009. I have given for the warranty service and it is still not rectified. I have been facing repeat problems in the set but they are neither able to repair it nor replacing the DVD drive . The drive is defective for approx 2 months .

Brief History of Problem

02Feb09 : Found power problem and given to service centre.
20Feb09 : After they have confirmed that it is rectified, I brought it home and found that it is having same power problem in my home.
21Feb09 : Next day I put it back in the service center and shown the problem to them.
22March09 : After confirmation from them when I brought it back to my home, I found that this time it is not playing any "DVD Media", it is only playing the "CD Media".
22March09 : When I again called them informing the problem they said they would be sending the service centre to my home within a day or two. But weeks elapsed, when I called them they says I need to bring the DVD Drive again to the service centre.

They are not taking the problem seriously, and I am not getting the service when my Drive is still under warranty service. I need this defective set to be replaced. Please help.

Philips DVD Player — replacement

this is to informe you that i m diwaker purchased a DVD player of Philips on 6 sep 2010. at your store no body given me the demo of that perticular DVD player. as i cheked that system at home its not working properly then i went to your store on 7 sep 2010. some Mr. aman met me thier and said he will replace that but on the other day when i reached their with the system thier is no body to lesson my problem i was told that mr. aman sits in noida & its not possible to replace that system. then some body from customer care come & said we will try to do same. but its 5 days now nothing happened till yet. today i went to your store Mr. amit sail still want 2 days time.

Philips DVD Player — NOT WORKING

this is regargding DVD player which was costly about Rs. 7,500/- very less used is not working was sent for repair @ Philips authorised service centre as per them cost of repair of DVD Player is too high about 2,500/- to 3000/- they have advised us that we should puchase new one as we have purchased this much costly applince & it didn't passed even one & half year & spoiled kindly do the needfull

HI,

I have Philips home theater since Dec-2010. There very small problem of auto switch on and off. We have started complaining about it from August-2011. After making almost 15-20 call to customer care during month of August and Sep-2012, someone finally turned up to my home. Just he came, check, hit the device with his tools some time and put hair oil in that and told me to bring it to service station. I took my product to service station on 27th October, 2012 though its not my duty. Since then i am calling to customer care (CC) and service station (ST)but no body no whats happening. CC people are saying daily since last 20 days that just wait for one day, he/she will take care in person of this complain and solve withing 24 hours. And, service station people are telling that they did not receive the spare part and maximum time they dont response to call.

Even after 20 days of this conversation between my, customer care and service station there is not any solution, no body have any idea about the product, is it dumped to some gutter or is it some employee of Philips is using that. Really i got pissed of from this, and planning to take legal action against this.

Philips products may be good but the service is horrible, company people are absolutely careless about any kind of complain, they dont give to any complaint.
