Nokia Xpressmusic 5800 — Not working properly

We are shocked to bring to your knowledge that we have recently purchased the above-noted set which is infested with certain technical problems.

The phone also hangs. Since we have purchased the phone at a very dear price, we expect full value for our money and ask you to replace the set at the earliest. Also ensure that such problems do not creep up in future and that our faith in Nokia remains undaunted.

Initiallly It works fine till two months .suddenly it wno't work.
Kindly hope so to do for full satisfication.

Nokia Xpressmusic 5800 — Phone not working properly

I had bought the said NOKIA 5800 on 30.04.2009 and it strated giving problems straight away. I complained to the dealer, Mobile Store, at C.P. but to no avail. I was promised that the phone has 8 GB memory and shall store a lot of data. but the phone is nothing what they show off. The phonme used to hang continuesly. Without opening any application it showed that i have to close some applications. I had no choice but to give it for repair at Nokia Care Centre at Lajpat Nagar. I was given a job sheet number 3782. The IMEI No. of the Phone is [protected]. I called upon the next day and i was told that the phone is fine now. But the same day it started giving the same problem. I took it back to the same Nokia Care Centre. They have now taken my phone with a promise that the phone have some manufacturing defect and the same shall be replaced. But till date there is no response. I hope this complain does something. I am a practising lawyer at the Supreme Court of India and without a phone it is very difficult for me to take care of my profession.

he is a lawyer, still he is in patience?
he should go to consumer court to lodge a case against manufacturer.

Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic — MOBILE NOT WORKING PROPERLY

I HAVE PURCHASED ONE NOKIA 5800 EXPRESS MUSIC ON 11.07.2009 - PRICE RS.16711.0 (PAID THROUGH CREDIT CARD) FROM THE MOBILE STRE, KANKURGACHI, KOLKATA .THE SET IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. THE SET GETS HAGNGED UP FOR VIEW SECONDS. APPLICATIONS ARE NOT FUNCTIONING WELL.

I HAVE COMPLAINED REGARDING THE PROBLEM TO MOBILE STORE AT KANKURGACHI & THE SOFTWARE UPDATION HAS BEEN DONE AT NOKIA CARE AT PRINCEP STREET, CHANDNI CHOWK & AT BARRACKPORE ALSO.

BUT EVEN AFTER UPDATION THE PROBLEM IS STILL CONTINUINING.

I HAVE BEEN HARRESED ENOUGH. I HAD BEEN TO BOTH THE MOBILE STORE AND NOKIA CARE ABOVE MNETIONED CENTRES MORE THAN 06 TO 07 TIMES.

I HAVE REQUESTED THEM TO LOOK INTO THE MATTER. BUT NEITHER THE MOBILE STORE NOR THE NOKIA CARE IS INTERESTED TO TAKE ANY ACTION.

I HAVE FURTHER REQUESTED THEM TO CHANGE THE SET BUT THEY ARE NOT GIVING ANY ANSWER TO MY QUESTION.

I have gprs connection. When i download some files from web the files save in memory card. But at the same time the phone memory shows it is taking memory.l

After purchasing this mobile ,i did not use due to hang problem i went to service center 10/6/2010 (vee Dee techno services 125/75/L-govind nagar kanpur-208006) then wat happend the problem was same.then they told set is ok but memory card is corrept ,then they submit my card &said we,ll give u with in 10 days .iaccepted this condition & got job sheet,then i used again mobile without memory card then also problem was same then they told submit ur mobile ,we wi,ll make it reach head service center in(Delhi) i told ok take it & i got jobsheet again then they told ur mobile wi,ll reach back here with in 10 days then i told ok. now i went in service center 28/6/2010 i did not get memory card .they told u bring this card from us 5/7/2010 & when i oprate my mobile then wat happen again problem was same ,they told we,ll make it bounce for Delhi again & take it from us with in 15 days . I want to new same mobile or want my mobile money other wise i,ll take another action thank u.

Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic — handset not working properly

I submitted my mobile phone on 17th July 2010 for dealing with the vibration and touchpad issues in Nokia Care Faridabad, Sector 15. However, when they returned the handset to me after 2 days the problem was not resolved and they asked me to leave the handset there for 15 more days. As per Nokia policy they should either repair my mobile in seven days or should exchange it with a new phone. Which is not the case here. I raised a complaint at Nokia customer care and the response is still the same and now they have asked me to confirm on 1st August (14 days later) whether the handset has been repaired or not. The jobsheet no. is[protected]/100717/20. The complaint number of nokia care is 1/[protected].

Could you please help me here as this is a lost to me to purchase a handset of 17000 Rs.
