[Resolved]  PNB — non payment of outstation cheque

Sir,
I have deposited a cheque of Rs.50, 000/- drawn by Kotak mahindra bank, Mumbai at my pnb saving a/c no. [protected] dated 17/07/09 at Rishikesh. I havn't received my money yet. I will be highly obliged to you if you could help me to make know that what can I do now regarding this matter.I am also is a senior citizen.

Dear Agarwal,
Now you take money from the Bank with Penalty charges of 2 % EXTRA above to the PLR rates of PNB bank from the date you have deposited the cheques with them till they makes payment to you.
By this time you get also the information from Kotak Mahindra Bank on which date this amount of Rs. 50, 000/- was debited by them while passing the Cheques of yours.
You can write letter to Kotak Mahindra Bank to give information about this.
If they don't give than under RTI application you may also ask in writing to provide the information you desire.
