[Resolved]  Railway Department Central Railway, Nagpur Division — Unauthorised Ticket Booking Agent

Sir,

At our Station (Dhamangaon Rly) which is come under the jurisdiction of Nagpur Division Central Railway on the of Howrah-Mumbai.

The Unauhthorised Booking agent sale a Rail Reservation Ticket under the name of Ajanta Pan Center which is located within the distance of 20 Mts. from the Rail Booking Counter.

The said agent sale the Rail Reservation Ticket charging a higher even than 100-200 Rs.. Although this is the common practice for the passengers of Yavatmal, because Dhamangaon Station is the Railway Gateway of Yavatmal District, and also in Yavatmal there is a Booking Counter at Bus Stand.

There are several complaints and problems due to the Booking Agent like Non-avaibility of Berths,

Modus Operandi :- The Booking agent firstly booked the ticket with another name and then sell it by charging high rate. wherever it isvery much serious that the passengers travel on another name suppose if any accident takes place the said passengers cannot be called as a bonafide passenger.

Please look into the matter very seriously and act accordingly

Note :- Before 2 months there were a raid conducted jointly by Railway Dept and CBI but there were no such action taken yet, it is discussed at public large that the matter is settled.

My self Pandit, from last 3 to 4 month we are facing more critical problem whlie up-down from Nagpur to Gondia or vice versa, when any trains are departure from nagpur for gondia it will take near about 3 to 4 hrs to reaching because trains are stopped at Kalmana station near about 30min to 1 hrs, secondly same problem is appear when trains exactly reach the kalmana from Gondia near about 2 hrs but still it is stopped at kalmana near about 30min to 1 hrs, thats why each & every Passengers facing this problem while up down. I dont know what is the exactly problem behind the same by Railway Contorl Room.

So pls kindly Sir, look for same, We are waiting for positive response.

this is to inform you that on dated 02.05.2009 i have purchase a ticket no.53885011 utsno.94479k442h told to widow for the train kerla express, when i reached to bhopal local t.c has told me this ticket is not alloed in this train where as nagpur winow person told me this ticket allow for all the train, resulted local t, c of bhopal collect rs.300 as a panalty for not allowed till distance should be more than 600 kms.

you are requested to mark in every station this perticular train jurney ticket is not allow jurney less than 600 km, so why the public will take jurnsy in such train in which ticket is not allowed, i paid rs.300 vide rect.noa250015 dt.03.05.2009 is not justified where is i personely request to t.c that all thigs but i think and i saw ever for the other train bhopal t.c is not standing on the door but they are specially stand for this train only, and his behiver is not good with the passanger.

i know that you you will also not take any action, but it is my suggestion to your railway deparment please clerify the actual status of train alonwith applicable jurney distance wise ticket will allow are not and booking counter will tell and ask the passanger for the train in they wants to go.
