Railway — no refund for E-Ticket WL passenger through TDR process | |||
Railways has many ways to cheat people. It is because most of the people are culprits from top to bottom only moneys works. Normal people are fools and no one dares to raise voice against these fraudster. I have booked 4 E ticket between Mumbai Central to Ahmedabad on 20th APRIL 2011 with PNR No [protected] for AC Chair Car in Shatabdi Express where my booking status was CKWL 31,32,33,34 where only passenger 1 was confirmed and rest 3 tickets were cancelled automatically due to WL status & E-Ticket. After that I Have filled TDR for refund on 25th April 2011 which requires 90days time for Verification. So the Reason I got from Railways was "REGRET Dear Customer, With Reference to your PNR No:[protected], we regret to inform you that refund is not admissible as informed by Railways through their letter no : IPC/REGRET/10-11/91/21.6.11/WR and the reason being : 675-WR/38 For W/L Passenger(s) Original NTC (Not-Travelled-Certificate) was not submitted. The case is repudiated. In case you require any further assistance, please mail us at [protected]@irctc.co.in or call us on[protected] With regards, TDR TEAM" To my surprise irctc authority says you haven't took NTC from TT. which was actually duty of TT to give this to travelling person. which was not given and the number mentioned on mail is also ringing no one has time to answer about my refund which is more than 2600Rs. How hopeless people are rulling India and people or any government company which is for the people by the people is not working for them for which they were paid. Was this information helpful? | |||
