Ration card office 26-D - 30 days time to add spouse name after submitting necessary documents

how long time does it take to add spouse name on ration card in mumbai ration card office 26-D division.
is there any rule of 30 days to add new name in the ration card? there don't have any such information in the mentioned office.
so its doubtfull that these people takingtime unnecessarily to make people frustrate. and get done their work urgently by paying extra money to agents.
