[Resolved]  Reader's Digest — Sweepstakes nonsense

Could someone please give me the e-mail address of Vikas Malhotra of Reader's Digest? I want him to stop making a fool of his readers. Reader's Digest has lost its credibility as far as I am concerned because of the very cheap methods used by Vikas Malhotra to promote it. Let the magazine earn and maintain its respect by the quality of the articles published rather than by using cheap methods of luring its readers to the bait of sweepstakes and endlessly inviting them to buy at a "special price" a set of music DVDs or the famous "once-in-life-time offer" titles. I don't' want any more messages from Vikas Malhotra of Reader's Digest in my mailbox and I would appreciate knowing how to have him delete my address from his mailing list.

I am going to stop my subscription to Reader's Digest. I want "the Vikas Malhotra nonsense" to stop. I strongly recommend to those who receive messages from Vikas Malhotra to delete them immediately (tear off the mail you receive from him without opening it, the guy thinks he can fool his innocent readers in India for ever).

Sir;

Sub: Not happy with your result…..

With regards to your communication, I the undersigned J.P. Acharya would like to inform you that I as a customer am very unhappy and disappointed with the way I am treated by your company through letters. As per your communication I thought, and was confirmed as I am winner of your sweepstakes contest.
As per relevant document I was so confident to be winner and your convincing writing style has turn my hopes so rich that would be rich by good amount of cash, which was really needed by me. When I called your Navi Mumbai Office on 28-01-09, I was surprised, and shocked when informed by your officer that, “they don’t know me and I am not a winner and not listed any contest”.
This is really ridiculous and disappointed and very pathetic business and worst business ethics. Getting service by a reputed company like yours, it’s bad; I am ashamed by your company.

Please forgive me that I was associated with your bogus company, I will make sure that you won’t get opportunity to fool innocent customer so that they don’t fall in your entire sweet convincing manner.

I was declared of the sweeptake prize. Then many times I received envelopes containing some stickers which I have to stick in proper place Then there was a Car also in prize. I was declared sure winner among the four prizes of cash. This lasted till December 08. Since I have not subscribed for the next year I have not received anything from Reader Digest. I think they are making fool of every one just to subscribe for their faltoo book.
I wish there was some way to explain to the so called "intelligent adults" such as likes of Vikas et al, of this world, that kids can see through this stupid gimmick of theirs leave alone the adults. And to think that a respectable name such as Readers' Digest is associating itself with fradulent practices. Shame shame shame on you.
Vikas Malhotra is oh so (in)famous im mycorcle of frnds. Keep it up Vikas.
tired of repeat 'offers' that so frequently don't come true; nothing but come-ons.
i would NOT be repeat recipient of this magazine, so good reading, if was not

I am also one of the prominent participant in the readers digest sweetaker. The way Shri Vikas Malhotra attracts with his comments seems wonderful. As complaints are being received from various corners, it appears that he is fooling the readers and it appears to be a grand scam. Let us see.

I was an active participant in the sweepstakes and the Company bombarded me with circular letters after circular letters. Since no results have been declared so far, it appears the whole thing is a big hoax. It is also possible that the Company is suffering from acute financial trouble.
People just making us fool, I dont know what was the objective, I have already registered for not sending again but still receiving mail.
