[Resolved]  Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, Bommanahalli, Bangalore — settlement of PF amount of my son Srinivasan Raghunathan who is now in abroad

Subject: Part final settlement of PF amount of Rs.18737/- in respect of my son SRINIVASAN RAGHUNATHAN who has worked and resigned from Emphasis and EDS Company, Bangalore. Employee No.2040479 (PF account No.KN/16573/13482.

a cheque for Rs.18737/- in f/o my son Srinivasan Raghunathan, drawn on CITI BANK, CHENNAI (being the part final settlement of his PF) has been received by me and returned on 31.8.2009 with a request to cancell and redraw the cheque in f/o my son on SBI Nanganallur Branch Chennai 600061, instead of Citibank, Chennai. I have visited the EPF Office, Bengaluru, personally during October 2009 and requested for immediate action to settle my son's PF amount as my son has resigned his job and gone abroad for his higher studies. During February 2010 my son visited India and tried to contact PF Office Bengalore over phone but unable to do so. Now he has gone to Chile, South America for his Doctoral studies. I have no other option but to make a complaint against EPF Office, Bommanahalli, Bengalore, as I am not getting any favourable reply from them till date.
