[Resolved]  Reliance Broadband — BROADBAND NOT WORKING

our billing account no. [protected]. OUR NET IS NOT WORKING. WE ARE COMPLAING SINCE LAST WEEK FOR THE SOLLUTION OF PROBLEM. FROM YOUR SIDE WE GOT ANSWER ONLY THAT COMPLAIN WILL SOLVE IN NEXT 24 HOURS. BUT THERE IS NO RESPONSE FROM YOUR SIDE. WE HAVE GOT ONLY COMPLAIN NUMBERS. TODAY IN THE MORNING WE ALSO REGISTERED COMPLAINT BUT THERE NO PROPER ANSWER FROM YOUR SIDE. PLEASE SOLVE THE PROBLEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. UNLESS CANCLE OUR CONNECTION. FOR BIG OFFSET PVT. LTD.

This is the second time, the Reliance Broadband is not working because they are having issues with their DLC box. I assume they don't pay their rents.

Chronological events:
21-12/2014 -> I filed a complained at around 9 Am that the broadband was not working. I was told it would be fixed within 24 hours. No reason given for problem except being told everything is fine on their end.

22/12/2014 -> Not resolved as of 9AM. Called the helpline again, and I was told it would be resolved within few hours. I called the guy who installed the connection at my premises, Mr.B*****, and he toldm e that there is a probem with DLC Box. Says request has been expedited.
At 3PM -> The problem was still not resolved. I called the helpline, and I was told by Mr.K***** that the connection will be restored by 7PM. There is a problem with DLC box. Says request has been expedited again!
At 7PM -> The problem was still no resolved. I was told that the connection would be restored by 10AM tomorrow morning. The CS rep did not know what was wrong including any information about the DLC box. Says request has been expedited yet again, and marked urgent!

10:15AM - > Problem not resolved. Called the helpline again. Mr. N*****, says I have expedited your complaint and technical department is looking into it. I am told the problem will be resolved by noon. As of 2.10PM, the problem still exists. He further tried giving me an email address to contact the regional officer. How am I supposed to send an email without internet access? If they can't solve it via phone complaints, I have no hope of them doing anything from request sent to a generic [protected]@ email address.

This is the second time this is happening. A couple of months back, similar thing happened whereby Reliance failed to pay the rent to their landlord for DLC box. Guess, what the customer doesn't get any adjustment for the bill unless the disruption has been for 72 hours. Even if they restore it for 1 minute, you are no longer eligible for refund.

From this experience, all I can say is that their customer service is pathetic, and that, would be an understatement.

I am having trouble in my connection since 13.4.2015 and even after numerous followup on phone with customer care my problem is not solved, i have received repeated calls for reminder for payment of my broadband bill which actually i am not being able to use for over a month and half now and on informing the telecaller they always assure me that it will take a note of complain and service will be activated in 2 days however post 2 days again i get a call to pay the bill without starting the service.

I request you to pls let me use the services for which i have to pay the bills and only charge me for those period where you had provided me the services.

You can understand how it feels like to pay for the services which you actually have not received.

If you cant activate the service or cant continue the service pls let it be discontinued for the good but inform accordingly to me and your team so that no future ambiguity is open.

My broadband is not working from 25th June, am getting RED "X" mark on network adapter following through stating "network cable unplugged".

I tried complaining several times on[protected] but all the complaints get closed within 24 hours by locals.Not a single call for comfirmation, or no ER. has visited to solve my problem before closing all these complaints.Basically no action has been taken regarding my problem from past these days.

My name is Roxy from Baroda, Gujarat. My Reliance Broadband User ID is[protected].
Had many problems with Reliance Broadband since long and many times I found the solution for the same but lately, as Reliance always do.
Now having some problems again from last 2 months. In the month of May, 2015 my internet stopped working on 14th, I launched the complain for same with ID[protected]. Again on 28th with ID[protected] and on 29th with ID[protected]. Got solution in all complaints. Now here is second problem, again my internet is not working from 8th June, 2015 and again I launched my complaint with ID[protected]. They always use to give 24 hours to all customers but I don’t know how they define this time in their language? I use to call them each and every day but always they asked me to wait for 24 hours but not even single engineer visit done to my place or not a single follow up call came to me from any of Reliance staff. I asked them to give local office address for broadband problems. They sent me address too and I visited the place then I came to know that company is not here from many months on this address (even Reliance Broadband team doesn’t know where their office is located). I asked them to terminate my internet with ID[protected] on 10th June on which they did not take any action. Now again after many call on daily basis on 15th June, 2015 at night time around 9 PM my internet got started. On 16th June they called me and asked that we have just received your termination request (which I have launched on 10th June). It means they have not taken any steps to my termination also. I came to know that why I had frequent disconnections from Reliance and the answer will shock you too, Reliance use third party’s premises to install DP from which they give connection to particular area and for the same Reliance has to pay some amount as a rent to that party, whose premises they use. In my case Reliance did not paid rent to the party for long 6 months. Because of that the party was not allowing to use their premises. Where I think the party is right. Now I’m asking for waiver (ID[protected] as my net was not working for many days, Reliance has rejected my waiver request.
Now somehow my internet got started on 15th June, 2015 again I had a bad day on 18th June, 2015 and my internet got stopped. Again I launched complaint with my ID[protected], they again told me to wait 24 hours. For another 2-3 days no engineer visit has been done. Again I started to call them on daily basis. After 5-6 days they told me that some ‘wire cut’ and ‘cascate’ issue is happened in my area. They asked me to wait for 48 hours this time. On 30th of June, I called them then they told me that you have to wait as we are running out of material and not sure how many days it will take. I’m already waiting for 12-13 days still no solution is given on my side. In between I asked to terminate my account so I can go to another internet service provider. But they are not taking my termination request. One side I’m not using my internet means my net is totally dead and another side they reject to give any kind of waiver.
I hope I get either my internet started with waiver for all not working days or I get termination from Reliance so I can switch to another company.
