[Resolved]  Reliance Broadband — Not refunding Rs500 even after 2 months

Hello sir,
This is Suvidha,
My Dad Mr Arun Kumar had booked Reliance broadband Internet Connection on 27th June 2008,
CAF No: [protected].
Amount paid in Cash : Rs 500
They came home to give connection, but as there was no signal they took back their connection box. Before leaving they told that they will refund the advance amount with in 1 weeks time. The name of the person who had come to house with the details of the internet connection is Mr. Mohammed Umer & his mobile number is [protected]. When we tried to reach him, he is not picking up the phone, so I got another no., one of his Managers his name is Mr. Kalyan and his mobile no is [protected]. He reassured us that we will be getting the DD of Rs. 500 by courier within 3 days.. But now it is more than a month since I called him, we haven’t received any demand draft.
We called him today 12th Aug 2008, to find out the status. Only reply we got is- I will find out & call u back by 3PM. When we tried to reach him again @ 4Pm he is not receiving our call.

We r tired of calling them again & again.
Are they playing the fool with the public?
This is just not acceptable.

Rs 500 might be a small amount for them but for us its our hard earned money

RELIANCE INTERNET — not refunding the money

i stay in rohini (delhi)...i had applied for reliance wimex internet connection on my brother's name abhishek verma on 28 september 2008... i paid 560 rs in favour of reliance communication, receipt no is [protected]... we cancelled the confirmation on 7 oct 2008 after seeing their customer service... they told us that we will get our money back after 45 days... but already 70 days are over and no outcome... i called up several times at their customer care center but they are even more pathetic... i m now opting to go for cunsumer court option... but i insist that please if anybody is going for reliance then think 100 times before taking their products
