I purchased a new SIM from Reliance. Its number is [protected].
After activation, I requested to enable 5p SMS facility by paying Rs 14 through reliance website.
I got message that service has been activated.
Though the amount was deducted, but 5p SMS facility was not enabled.
So, I requested to enable this facility by sending SMS *777*14#.
Once again, I got message that service has been activated and the amount was deducted.
But, when I send SMS, Re 1 is deducted.
After getting annoyed, when I made a complaint to customer care, I got a reply that since its new sim,
you had facility to send 99 free SMS after by paying 1st SMS charge.
When I requested them, that I want 5p SMS facility and not the current one, they told its not possible.
Also, you wont get any refund of the amount you paid for 5p SMS.
I don't understand, when there is no facility for which I requested, then how can you charge for this.
Also, when I made a request for some facility, why cant Reliance inform us that a service is already active on your mobile.
Instead, they deducted the amount with no service enable.
I request you please refund the amount (Rs 28) for which there is no service.
