[Resolved]  Reliance Communications, Basavanagudi, Bangalore — Irresponsible Service

I took a reliance connection (no: [protected]) on 20/10/2009 from "Reliance Communications No.99/100/101, Old No.74, Gandhibazar Mn Rd, Basavanagudi, Bangalore - 560004". I submitted my driving licence as my permanent address proof, provided with a photograph. Being a permanent resident o[censored]dupi, I submitted an OUT-OF-STATION form for my temporary residence at Bangalore, provided to me.

I did exactly as i was instructed to at Reliance Communications. Inspite of this my cell was not activated that day. I reside at Brooke Fields, Bangalore, which is 20 km from the reliance communications, where i took my connection. I went to a reliance comm outlet at Koramangala, which is closer to my place, to enquire about this connection. I was asked to go to the same office and enquire. I went all the way. I was shocked to learn that my application and documents were still lying at the same desk where i submitted. The person incharge there (at Reliance Comm outlet, Basavangudi, Bangalore), informed me that since there was no power the previous day my connection was not yet activated. I found this reason to be lame since it is not possible for the outlet to not have power for one whole day. I was disappointed and requested them to get my phone activated at the earliest. By that day evening (21/10/2009), my they finally found time to activate my connection.

All went well for a few days. I got a Rs249 pack (Rim-Rim unlimited free), for my connection. I was shocked again when i received a message from reliance stating that i had to submit my COMPLETE DOCUMENTS, failing which my connection would be blocked. I immediately contacted reliance care. I was informed not to worry if i had submitted all documents, since the sms from reliance was only a routine procedure. I believed. Later, on 29/10/09, my connection was indeed barred. I was out of station then. When i called reliance care, i was asked to resubmit my documents. I was surprised since I had done exactly as i was instructed to at Reliance Communications during submission.

I returned to Bangalore on 02/11/09. The very next day i reached the reliance comm where i took this connection (reliance Comm outlet, Basavangudi, Bangalore). I was in for another shocker. This time i was told that the the OUT-OF STATION form which I had submitted was outdated. I had earlier filled up only those forms which they had instructed me to. I do not understand why my connection should be blocked, because of a Reliance Comm employee asking me to fill up some wrong form, in the first place. I had to re-submit all documents (which i had earlier submitted), with a revised OUT-OF-STATION form, for being a temporary resident of Banagalore. I requested for my connection to be rectified at the earliest. I was promised by Ms. NALINA at Reliance Comm outlet, Basavangudi, Bangalore that it would happen in 24 hrs.

As usual, due to their casual approach, it never happened. It is 07/11/09 today. It has been 4 days since re-submitted the documents. My connection is still blocked. In spite of repeated calls and reminders to the Ms. Nalina at Reliance Comm, Basavangudi, Bangalore, absolutely no progress is visible to me yet and this is really disgusting. In fact, when I called today, she informed me that the documents were sent to the main office and I would get the connection only after Monday since no activations happen on Saturdays and Sundays. Monday (09/11/09) will me the 6th day of waiting, after re-submitting my documents on 03/11/09.

Is this any sort of responsible behavior on part of Reliance Comm outlet, Basavangudi, Bangalore. It was them who made me fill the out-dated-wrong form in the first place. The Rs249 pack is running out too. I request for your kind immediate action.
