[Resolved] Reliance Communications — Value added services are being enabled without any request from Customer | |||
I have recently taken a Reliance GSM connection. In the second bill, I have observed a GPRS usage of around 70MB which leads to an amount of Rs. 70 in the bill. I have called up the customer care and asked for why and when the GPRS is made active on my number. They told that the GPRS services to be enabled by default for all the GSM customers who are taking an internet connection. By enabling the services without any request from Customer, the reliance is doing this type of bad practices to bombard with the bills. As per my knowledge, all the value-added services to be enabled by taking a request from Customer which all rest of the operators following excluding Reliance. As all the basic mobiles now-a-days are coming up with GPRS by default, by making this service in an enabled state will lead to bombard the customer with the bills and thus is looting the money for the services which customer not required/ not willing to use. I have requested them to show-case where exactly the Reliance has mentioned that they will enable the value-added services without any request from customer. I have requested them to please de-activate now, but they told that is not possible but how is it not possible? If all rest of the service providers are able to do this, why not Reliance GSM? Reliance Mobile — value added service
dear sirwithout taking any proposal from me reliance mobile charging Rs 30 every month naming it talk charge. when i contacted to customer care at 333 they told that i am unable to cancel it, they suggested to call at another no.when i contacted on that no. paying heavy call charge Rs20, but problem is still.i left to refill, but ballance is coming in _minus Rs 17 and it increasing day by day automatically.pl help me to get rid of the problem.
