Reliance Mobile CDMA — BILL GENERATED WITHOUT ACTIVATING MY MOBILE

I AM SERVING IN INDIAN ARMED FORCES AND WAS TRANSFERRED FROM KOCHI TO GOA ON 29 MAY 11. On arrival i approached VASCO Reliance web centre for the change of circle request. The lady who didnt know anything about the procedure went to the other counter and started asking others. Next half an hour they were not able to decide what is the correct procedure for the same. As i have been a customer of reliance for past 05 years i knew the correct procedure and told them to confirm it from their main branch in PANJIM. They confirm and told me the same. The requisite documents were submitted with 02 working days and it was assured to me that the address would be changed.

One week passed and nothing happened i approached the Vasco centre numerous times takin time out from my schedule and still my kochi number was activated. On taking a strong stand against the behaviour of the reps present at vasco centre a senior Ms Lata was asked to intervene in the issue. Later it was found that the other lady who received my documents did not submit it for circle change but has wrongly submitted it for address change. After 02 weeks it was told that i will have to again resubmit the document and i wud have to buy a new sim card for the same.

I immediately bought the card but despite all this my new number was not issued to me and the old number was deactivated. Finally i wrote a mail to the Reliance customer care and i was informed a day after that my issue has been resolved and the new number can be collected from the vasco centre.

Although i was provided with the new number only after 04 days from that mail when i tried activating the number on the new sim card it failed. despite informing vasco centre regarding the same problem the issue didnt get resolved due to various unprofessional reasons like "the concerned person is on leave", "the cncerned person is not present here right now" etc etc.

I waited for the same after being assured that the number will be activated its been almost 02 months and the new number [protected] of RELIANCE CDMA has not been activated till now.

And to my shock a bill has been generated and a bill has been forwarded to me on my mail as of todate.
I request that this problem be forwarded to the highest of the level in Reliance telecommunication to make them aware of the small little gaps between a customer and such a reputed company which can tarnish the image of the company.

I would also give a small example despite every single little problem which i faced in Reliance-- Vodafone was very professional in issuing a new number as well as terminating the old one without any difficulty. and the personnel present at the centre were highly trained and professional unlike Reliance, where only Ms Lata i believe knows the work and handling all the customers, rest all just laugh at the customer and their misery.
