[Resolved]  Reliance Netconnect, Braoadband +USB Modem — Non activation, no response from dealer / customer care service

Dear Madam/Sir,

I got home delivered Reliance Netconnect Broadband + USB modem from Vriti Infocom Pvt Ltd -Authorised Dealer(code:[protected]) for Reliance having offices in Delhi / Mumbai by paying Rs. 3500/= on cash with a promotional scheme of goa tour .

I was sold broadband unit on commitment to activate within 48 hrs. But, regret to inform that since 30th April, 2009 to as on date i.e19th May, 2009 I have not recived any response or activation o[censored]sb modem or getting the promotional scheme letter of goa tour from Dealer / Reliance Customer Care Delhi even after repeated reminder e-mail’s, daily phone calls to both dealer / customer care. My MDN No. is [protected], and I had applied for 1099 unlimited download tariff plan.

Pls look into and advice accordingly to take action against reliance / dealer

on 2 April i purchases reliance usb from trivandrum.and after 19 onward the usb is not working...i gave complain reliance customer ...they told me there is some problem in usb..we will re exchange your usb .kindly deposit your usb nearest service center .i gave in 17 april... they return after 21 days.. i lose my offer first 2 month offer...i told reliance office person on...still they did, t take any kind of action, , , ,
once a customer has purchase any product from reliance after that they r not provide better service...i gave complain round about 15 to 20 times, , , after that i want the office also even i did, t get any response ...
be care care full .i don, t know why they r doing like that with their customer...
even i am facing the same problem.these vriti people are cheats.now they dont even respond or listen to complains.
i purchaed Reliencs netconnect USB modem 2 days ago, i installed the software but not able to activate the connection. Whaen I start Netconnect it asks to dial *228 for activation, on dialing it asks to enter 9 digit pin. i enterd 9 digit number supplied with Get started scracth card but it does no veryfy the number and says 'can not be activated'.
Please tell me what to do?
I purchased the reliance netconnect 2 months back. Reliance netconnect people have yet not updated the my netconnect number in their data base. Whenever I call and dial my netconnect number to speak to customer care, they say invalid number entered. Now it have been 10 days since USB data card has stopped working, executive told me take it to customer service centre, but none of the customer centre are available near my place. All are approx. 12-20 km away from my area. Let me tell my area is in happening place of delhi.
Also their online portal site also doesn't work. I was not able to see my usage, also was not able to pay my rental online.

Reliance services are bad, these people keep sleeping after selling their data card which they import from other asian country. :) Data card can't work more than 2 months. Reliance people are cheats.

Reliance Netconnect broadband — No activation even after 1 week of purchase

I have purchased Reliance netconnect broadband modem on 16th Oct Friday.
But they are not activating it. It has been week since they are not activating it.
Whever I call to customer care they just say "Since your Data has not intered in the system so wait"
There waiting period is not ending.
I must say they are people. They dont have any care for customer.

Before purchasing this, you should have consulted user reviews about this product which is quite bad. I also planned to buy this product but finally I restricted myself because I read too many ridiculous reviews about this product.

Well, now that you have paid for the product and they haven't activated it after 1 week, go and file a complaint in the Consumers Action Forum with your purchase receipt. Once complaint has been filed, go to Reliance outlet and give them a copy of that, your net connection will soon be yours :)

My personal opinion: next time if you go for a Reliance product, anything, just try to stay away from Ambani brothers matters. They have become totally ridiculous corporates now. All services have turned worse. Customers are suffering all over India.

Vriti Infocom Pvt. Ltd. Dealer of Reliance — Non working modem provided

One more victim of Vriti Infocom Pvt. ltd. here.

I purchased a Reliance Broadband connection from them on 27th Nov. 2009. They said it would be activated on the 30th of Nov. When I checked on the 30th of Nov. 2009 the modem could not be activated.

I then called Reliance customer service who told me that the there was problem with the modem and that I should visit Reliance Web World.

They checked the modem there and said that there was a problem with the modem and that i should contact Vriti Infocom pvt. ltd. for a replacement. Dont know why they could not replace the modem.

Since 30th Nov. 2009 I have being trying to reach them and asked them to replace the modem but they only take down the complain saying someone would call me in 5 min. Well their 5 min. is now over 72 hours.

Dont know why Reliance continues to have them as their partners since on checking on the Internet there are so many complains against them.

Guess I should bid by Rs. 3500 good bye.

Consumers are going to loose confidence with Reliance if it contiues to have partners like these.
I got my Reliance Broadband+ netconnect converted from postpaid to prepaid.

Now when I activate it, it asks for a 9 digit pin number.
When I enter the pin number given to me by Reliance Executive at Noida, Sec 18, then it gives a message that the pin number is not valid and hence the device can not be activated.

They are now not providing any service in this regard. I have reached out to their different outlets, but no result.

I would suggest that never go for a reliance connection.

Reliance Data Card — *228 not happening

i have taken one data card dated 30th March 10 from supaul, The all required documents i have submitted, as per customer care the CAF Ok & it is submitt successfully, but unfourtunattly *228 ( otaf) is not happening.

it is very pathatic service from Reliance.

all the above complains are very often happening and i am also facing the non activation problem since 14'th jan 2011 .nobody from reliance world is taking care of me. we must raise voice collectively otherwise corrupt behaviour of corporate sector will ignor public problems.
i purchased a modem number [protected] for the activation it asks 9 digit pin number but it is not in there in the pack what can i do
my plan is 5 gb free on hybrid network and unlimited free on 1x.. my 5 gb on hybrid network got over.. can anyone help me how to activate for 1x network
