[Resolved] Reliance Netconnect — SMS Harassment | |||
Hi, I got following SMS from LMRELIAN- "After Repeated follow-up you have failed to pay Rs. 2039 vide Caf[protected]. Hence be present at Pune count on 30/06/2013". History: I have paid 3 month's rental at the start itself. After that I got only one hard copy of bill. After 3 months over, I never received a bill from Reliance. REASON: They have updated my email ID incorrectly. Now since I did not receive any bill and hence could not pay it, my postpaid internet connection stopped working. I remember paying one bill voluntarily but this happened again next time and after that I did not use connection. In fact it would never connect to internet itself. Customer care failed to update my email ID correctly; why should I pay bill for the period I have not used?? Now I have got this SMS after almost 6 months.Is this legal by the way??
