[Resolved]  Remit2India.com — Ripping customers off with low exchange rate

A few weeks back I had made a transfer of funds for Brtish pounds[Ref[protected]] using Remit2India. On checking the amt credited to the beneficiary, I found that Remit2India had applied a much lower rate then the expected exchange rate on the day. On contacting Remit2India to provide me an official document from their partner Axis bank stating the exchange rate for British Pounds, all they provided was a screen shot of the indicative rate which any one can create it. I asked for information of the ombudsman to complain about the exchange rate applied, they never provided the information.

I would advise all those who wish to transfer funds using Remit2India to never use this company. They will short change you of the money transfered and you will lose minimum 100 pounds for transfer over 5000 pounds.

To all those who wish to transfer funds from overseas to India, DON'T EVER TRANSFER FUNDS WITH REMIT2INDIA!!
