[Resolved]  Remit2India.com — Amount not reached India after week 4

We opened an R2I account on october 25th in US. After a long delay, the amount, $10, 000 was debited on Nov 4th. The transaction number is [protected] and the reference number is[protected]. As of now which is Nov 19th the amount is yet to reach India. The funny part is each time we call R2I, they say they are still investigating as to where the funds are! Our parents are in need o[censored]rgent care and here they are the so called R2I who doesn't even bother to check what is happening. Each time we call their rep says to give 2 more days since it is a technical issue and start giving their own explanation as to why it is taking so long... I mean how many 2 more days do you want? The standard sentence they have is 'We aplogize for the inconvenience caused' and nothing else. One of their R2I rep even suggested to arrange a temporary amount in India until the amount is remitted and I told him to please do his job and think of ways to resolve the issue on hand. My bank account statement has 'Axis remit' against the debited amount for 4th Nov. If there is any R2I person please stand up and let us know what the issue is! We need to give a check to another party and the whole issue is embarassing us. My sincere advice to my fellow friends is to think 10 times before sending the money through R2I. The least they can do is to compensate for the time lost this whole while.
