[Resolved]  Samsung Star - Gts5233a — fail to Connect internet from mobile to pc

Can i install application software with this model. If yes then which type of application software is installed in samsung GT-S5233A. I want this with file extension(e.g. for nokia model => opera.sis like that i want in samsung).

Not able to confuigure gmail onto my samsung GTS5233A.. Kindly help

i have purchased samsung GT-S5233A Edge Quad Band Model before one month back in mumbai there are so many problems i am facing i can't upload my old contacts to this model i have install Samsung New PC Studio in my system but i unable to see my photos which was taken from this mobile whenever i have taken photos i have to move from phone to memory card can u guide me how to solve this problem. main thing is my contacts i have copy my old contact to my cell first

i am using same mobile samsung GTS5233A and Aircel.I have connected my PC to internet by using this cell. Create interconnection using pc suit do not select India as a country select other, also provider "other", then you can set manually, set APN =aircelwap.pr, phone='*99***1#. It is working.
You can create connection manually without using pc suit.

Account name =Gmail
SMTP Server=smtp.gmail.com
SMTP port = 465
Secure connection=SSL
Incoming server type=POP3
POP3 server=pop.gmail.com
POP3 port=995
APOP login=true (Select APOP login)
Secure Connection = SSL

SMTP auth=true
Same as POP3/IMAP4=true

Go to setting, Phone setting, in phone setting there are second last option PC connection.
Set Samsung PC studio default for connection. After selection connect cell to pc and start PC suit.
You can upload, download photo as well as other files to pc. And moving files from Phone to Card memory card not required PC, you can move files by phone. Go to my files, images, Select manage option and select move or copy, after phone shows all files from this folder select files to move or copy and select bottom option it ask for location select memory, againg it shows folder list from memory move or copy to one of the folder or can create new folder.

I have lost my samsung (model no. GT-S5233A) software CD. Now i want to connect my phone to my PC. CD was not installed in PC. please tell me how can i install these softwares in my PC.

I have purchase purchased Samgsung GT-S5233A one week back, till now i don't have any complaints,
But I want to know how to Installed the Software's as well as themes which is the best website and what the procedure to be followed.

how to do Keypad lock, like in Nokia one option is their minimum 10Seconds time to set keypad lock,
I mean to say timer is their in Nokia models minimum seconds max 1 minute to set keypad lock

When any call comes Incoming or outgoing when i answer the call my screen gets black starting first time I was shock that Mobile is On or Off i have checked display settings also but I dint rectified yet.

Is any of you please help me in my above issues.

I have been trying to get GPRS s settings for samsung modle GT S5233A from aircel custemer care, but aircel custemar care agent are just ignoreing with all excuses.
should i cancel the canection and go to any ather cell service .

It has been almost 6 months i have been using samsung gts5233 mobile phone with almost all service providers here in J&K. the only thing i found missing in this version of samsung was using menu based application during a call like record option. also u need to manuaaly "crack" throusgh the mobile software to manually install the java application whch i thnk was lil bit of nuisance.

rest regarding the internet connectivity. the mobile web broser works smooth almost with all netowrk providers.

when i used aircel, initially i was told by aircel cc that this samsung phone is not supported so i went for mannual settings, which worked really fine. also airtel gprs works good on this phone n so is BSNL n Vodafone n reliance gprs.

samsung star(S5233A) — mail , pc connection

i was unable to install mail service on samsung star
even if i give it the right smtp and pop3 servers and ports also , it is saying that "DNS failed".


The other problem is my pc studio is not responding even if i connect my mobile ti pc.........

It's like when i select mass storage , the screen will be changed to black and display says that my cell is connected(normal).
but when i select NEW PC STUDIO , there are no changes on the screen......
pls help me......


because i wanted to connect my mobile to pc and browse web , which is not happening now............................

GT-S5233A — key lock complaint

i bought the mobile handset around three months.From that time untill three months everything was working good condition. now i have got problum for the key lock button.its not working. The automatic key lock is working but the manual keylock is not working. so plese kindly send suggection if you can help me.

the internet facility giving in this phone is very bad i also using this phone but i am not satisfied

i want to use internet on my phone samsung star s5233 when i search google and i type gmail its not signing up gmail directly its show me information about websites . how can i use my mobile like a pc plz give me suggestion soon. and as i type orkut.com direct than again its giving me information about websites and after i click on them there is no satisfaction response
