Poor & Irresponsible Servicing
I bought the Samsung Ultra Slim Fit TV model CS21A530 by December 2008.The TV stopped working all of a sudden by January 2012, refusing to get powered on. Called up the customer care and got the service center contact at Tirunelveli, Tamilnadu. The service engineer came home and inspected the TV after 3 days from the date of complaint. He found the LVT seems to have gone and told us they had to order a new one and replace it. The order was placed for the LVT by February (that's what i heard from the service center people there) and it reached them by May 1st week only. I dint get any intimation about the arrival of the parts and neither no one turned up to pick the TV again to fix it. After repeatedly calling them, another guy was sent home to take the board from TV to replace the LVT. After a week also they dint return back the TV, again no calls or any response from them. When i called later, they were like the inventory people has made some mistake and that the part is missing now. This is really stupidity. Cant they even handle the parts properly? Neither do they call up the customers and regret the inconvenience nor they do any alternate measures to service the customer. Now i have been told to wait for the new order to be placed to get the LVT again. This is really annoying and insane to wait for 6 months to fix a small issue with the TV. Samsung service center is really pathetic in helping the customers.
