I am quite disgusted with SCB. I agreed to upgrade my card in Jan and was expecting the plat card in Feb. All I got was the brochure of the new card. Subsequently, my old card was blocked without checking with me if I had the new card. On attempting a purchase on March 18th my card was found to be blocked. When I called customer care, the executive said my card had been blocked but after putting me on hold for 5 minutes, said that it had been released since I had not received the new card. Again when I tried an internet purchase today, I found it was blocked. When I called customer care again, they said it was still blocked and claimed the new card had been delivered to me on Feb 5th!!
I am now supposed to wait till I get the new card and till then the old one has also been blocked.
Is this is the service one gets for having a gold card for 6 years and upgrading to a plat card??
I am extremely disappointed at the way I have been treated. I expect SCB to compensate me in an appropriate manner for this failing which I intend to reject the plat card and discontinue my relationship with the bank.. Was this information helpful? |
