[Resolved]  Sony Ericsson Mobile — Very Bad Service

I had bought a Sony Erricson W580i mobile phone 8 months ago by paying 9900/- Rs, some day ago my display were not working properly. It had free warranty of 1 year, so i took it to a Sony authorised service centre on 26/06/2009 named Rashi Mobile, Millenium Plaza, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. They took my handset and said that they have to send this handset to bhopal (M.P.) for reparing, after 15 days (14/06/2009) when i call service center phone number, i'm shocked coz service center representitive said that my mobile's disply had a water damage and it's not under warranty, but my cellphone does't have any water damage or breakage damage ever, after that she told me that when her boss come and he will only decide that what to do with my sony 580i cellphone.

After 2 day i again called sony service center and i told him about my problem, her boss (service center owner) assured me that my mobile is under warranty and they have to repair it without any extra cost, after that whenever i'm trying to contact service center owner named Mr. prajapati, he said tomorrow your handset will be ready, again i make a call again he said day after tomorrow your handset will be ready after that they did not respond to my calls & visits.

Yesterday i went to service center again, service center owner said that tomorrow my handset will be in my hand without any problem. today when i went to service center, service center guy told me that my handset is not repaired because they don'v have new display for my handset. my question is that, if they don't have new display in there stock before why they misguiding the customer, if they didn't have display why they didn't gave my handset without repair on 14/06/2009??

i gave my handset on 26/06/2009 and got my handset after almost after in a month on 21/07/2009 today *unrepaired*. This is a clear case of cheating, negligence. it's giving mental harassment to customer.I'll bring this issue to consumer forum as soon as possible, they think customer are fool but they don't know what a customer can do. Sony ericsson not gave me this phone free of cast, i had to pay 9990/- INR for purchasing that phone.

I have decided not to purchase any more Sony products here after. Better to avoid the problem (not to buy their product). that's why nokia is leading the market coz his product and services are best in india. i'm fade up with Sony ericsson really.

I would also like you to look into the rampant corruption in your service centres where the sole objective seems to collect the service charges and harass the customers. I wish to escalate this matter to the highest authorities.

Just see if talking to them sorts it out

Keep me in informed as well as my phone P1i is also in their service center since three month

Sony Ericsson Mobile — after no of repairing and charging Rs.3400.00 still the phone is not functioning,

I got a mobile for Rs.8600.00 of sony erricson company on date -04.05.10.In the last month it got damaged by rain water, as after liquid damage i can not avail the warranty though the mobile set is still on warranty. so I rush to the neaerest customer care of sony erricson at Bhubaneswar and handed over the set to them the returned it to me near about after a month on 25.08.10 and charges Rs.2800.00 ( CASE ID SPM 885) still the camara and the FM was not working as the part are not available with them, i compormised with that and get back the hand set and after another month the mobile got the charging problem and again i rush to them and handed over them and get back that on 28.09.10 ( CASE ID SPM 1217) and the mechanic replaced the charger set and charged me rs.600.00. when i returned to home i found it faulty as the battery was jammed and the memory chips can not be insert to it so again i visited to them they made some repair and handed over the phone to me saying it will keep charge thoug the blinking procedure when charging will not display , after my arrival to home again i found that the battery was not keeping charge so again i have to rush to the customer care he charged the batter by their machine and told that it was fully dry so it can not be charged in home but still after my arrival to my home i found that though the phone keeps chargs it is only upto 74 % not full secondly it took more than 8 hours to charges. now i mean to say that the mechanic is do not know anything or they used duplicate parts and does not take the customer complains seriously they used to play with them. if he knows the thing he could have make the phone at least for the normal use i.e chargin and talking even if i compormise with the camera and the FM. i have alrady visited the customer care five times still i am not satisfied with them. in this connection i also contacted with their customer care toll free no and registered a complain but all invain. so should i have to pay another 8600/- for the repair of the phone if they can not repair it why they charged for it in the 3400/- i could have purchased a phone . now i request to get back that 3400/- with a condition that they may remove the part they used for the repir bacause if the phone does not works there is no value of the parts of their customer care.i feel like i have been cheeted by the company and their customer care. so i request for a solution please.
i agree with the complaints reagarding the customer care they are just bias the customer and not taking the customers complaints seriously.
